I've been recieving mail asking me to go a little more indepth on the music that makes this show so great. So, I'm going to get you the titles of the songs with their composers and hopefully where to find them.
Anyone that has been watching the show for any extended period of time (and even if you haven't...*G*) knows that the music can really add to the episodes.
As far as midis are concerned there are some great sites out there if you know where to look. Fortunately I know where some of them are and can send you there. Isn't the internet grand?
There is an excellent site that Cusmus has that can give you all of the names of the the songs, writers, even the companys that produce them, AND, they're listed by episode. Ever so handy. Defineately check it out...
Anyway... the question I tend to get most is which song was featured in "Mercy" and the beginning of season two's "Hard Landings. Simple one there. It's a tune by Depeche Mode called "The Love Thieves" on their album Ultra. Great tune. Actually, if you like that song you'd probably like the whole album. A great way to pick up that midi is to go visit "Wedge" at his sight over in the U.K. He's got an excellent copy of this tune as well as many others from Depeche mode that would be great on a LFN page.
UDPDATE:I feel like I've been chasing midis for days. I have researched groups like Enigma, Prodigy and Rhea's Obsession right down to there cores and haven't found anything worth passing along as midis. These pages do have wavs and "real audio", but that's usually not good for a page. (Ofcourse as an "ex" sound engineer and having a background in music I can be really fussy...) I will however provide the links as I believe that's for you to decide. Some are neat some are frustrating (Enigma... if you go to that page you'll understand the name...)
Another problem I'm running into is that I've acquired some pretty decent wav files from the show, but I am having trouble linking them. I am hoping to get the few that i have up and running in the next couple of days. Bear with me it the mean time , enter HERE to check out the names and songs listed by episode.
On the other hand having picked up some actual sound clips from the show I will put them here for you. They've been checked and come courtesy of the great Warner Brothers site for LFN out there. That's where you can get the originals. I take no claim for these tid-bits.
