CEDAR OAKS: Ben walked into "Dana's" room and
introduced himself to
Angela, the woman in the catatonic state (who Tim had
conveniently put in
there!). When she didn't respond, he left. Meanwhile,
Maria was working
on her picture of Ben in another room of the hospital.
Ben returned and told Meg that her friend was
sleeping. After they left, Tim
asked Annie why she followed him to Cedar Oaks, but
she refused to tell
him what she was there for. He ducked her, realizing
that she was the last
person who needs to see Maria.
Tim was in the process of moving Angela out of Maria's
room when Maria
returned and asked what he was doing with Angela. He
claimed that Angela
wandered into her room and that he was helping her
back out.
Annie returned to spy on Tim. She hid behind the desk
and listened as Tim
and Maria brought Angela out of the room. She went
into Maria's room,
where she spotted the drawing of Ben. Annie showed Tim
the picture of
Ben that she found in Maria's room, which proved to
her that he was
involved in some plan involving Ben. Tim told Annie
that the artist was
working from a photo of Ben. She offered to help him
with his plan in
exchange for his Liberty Corporation stock, but he
refused on the basis that
whatever she's up to won't be good for his working
relationship with
Gregory. Later, Tim and Maria went back into her room,
Annie opened the
door and was shocked at what she saw!
RICARDO'S APARTMENT: Carmen arrived and declared that
she has
had a strange feeling about Maria and Annie all day.
Ricardo told his mother
that as long as she talks about Maria as if she's
alive, it's making it harder for
him to move on and get over her death. He explained
that it was his job to
protect his younger sister, but he let her down. He
begged his mother to let
go of the notion that Maria was still alive.
INN AT SUNSET BEACH: Caitlin had misgivings about
moving, but
Cole insisted that he wanted them to be able to live
their own lives, without
their families interfering. After Caitlin went to buy
diapers, Francesca
knocked at the door. She blatantly came on to Cole,
who avoided her
advances. She challenged Cole to look at her and tell
her that he doesn't
want her. When he did, she said that he's a con artist
and that she doesn't
believe him. While Caitlin was standing on the
doorstep, he was preparing
to throw Francesca out.
ST. JOSEPH'S: Antonio grew increasingly frustrated
with Francesca, who
seemed to be reverting to her old and devious ways.
Gabi came to visit
Antonio, and spotted Francesca. She asked him about
his relationship with
Francesca, and he agreed to be honest with her -- on
the condition that she
not tell Ricardo. He confessed that when he first met
Francesca when he
was very young and impressionable. He had no idea that
Francesca was a
thief, and that he handed over the most valued
possession of the people of
Rosario to her and Phillip. He has never trusted
himself, or human nature,
ever since. When Gabi reassured him that he didn't
intend to help them, he
pointed out that he never did anything to stop them,
either.
Ben and Meg told Antonio that they want to get married
as soon as
possible. While Ben was alone making a phone call,
Ricardo approached
him and accused him of disgracing Maria's memory, and
of slapping the
Torres family in the face by having Maria's brother
marry them in the same
church where he married Maria. Antonio walked in while
Ricardo was
telling Ben that he'll make sure that Ben can't make
the past disappear.
SURF CENTRAL: Tyus got Michael's test results, which
proved that the
cure works. He promised Vanessa that the cure will
work on her, and thinks
that it may even help Lena. Michael asked Vanessa to
marry him today.
Tyus told Virginia that he knows how she feels about
Vanessa and Michael,
but she insisted that he can't possibly know how badly
she wanted Michael.
Then she left the room. Out in the hallway, she ranted
and raved about how
everything she has ever done was for Michael, and that
he'd never know it.
She found the blackmail pictures of Vanessa and Tyus
in her purse and
decided to show them to Michael.
