TYUS'S SUNSET BEACH APARTMENT: Vanessa and Jimmy were unable to get to a trapped Virginia because of falling rubble. Although Jimmy protested leaving his mother, they went to get help.

Virginia decided that being trapped was her punishment for what she did to Vanessa. She prayed for her end to be quick, but a newly returned Vanessa was sure she didn't mean it. Vanessa informed Virginia that she sent Jimmy to safety with some paramedics. She also sent for help to rescue Virginia. She tried to convince Virginia, who was ready to give up the ghost, that she needed to save herself for Jimmy's sake.

CEDAR OAKS: Dana admitted that she was afraid that the feeling that a twin was part of her life was just an attempt to fill in the blanks in her memories. Meg asked the last time she had the feeling that they'd found something that fit into her past. Dana said that it was when Meg was talking about Ben.

Dana explained that she doesn't really remember Ben, but the way that Meg feels about Ben. Meg tried to prompt Dana to remember details about the man she loves. Dana thought that if she was truly and deeply in love with someone, she should remember something, but she didn't. Meg told Dana that she was sure that Dana loved someone once. She promised that she and Ben would do everything they can to help Dana put the pieces of her life back together.

Meanwhile, Ben and Tim finally got out of the room. They found Hank and Joan, who were both unconscious, but alive. Hank and Ben went after Meg. Joan thanked Tim for risking his life to save Meg. Hank and Ben said that the hallway was blocked, but Joan and Tim refused to give up on getting through to her.

Ben yelled for Meg, and when she heard his voice, Dana had another flash of memory. Ben, Tim, Hank and Joan found the room where Meg and Dana were. Ben put his hand through a hole in the wall and told Meg to take it. Meg urged Dana to take his hand and be brought to safety, but Dana backed away. Meg took his hand and went through the hole in the wall. She was joyfully reunited with Ben, Tim and her parents. She told Ben that Dana was still in the room, and he reached through for her. They finally convinced Dana to take Ben's hand.

RICHARDS HOUSE: As the floor disintegrated under Annie's feet, both she and Olivia grew increasingly panicked. When Leo was about to leave to find help, AJ convinced him to stay, so that they could save Trey together.

Gregory calmed Olivia down, and then tried to convince Annie to give Trey to him. Annie refused, because she was afraid that if she gave Trey to him, he'd just leave her there to die. Gregory coaxed Annie and explained that the only way he can save her is if he takes Trey first.

Gregory held Olivia over the gap to take Trey from Annie. Annie was able to hand Trey to Olivia. Olivia panicked when she realized that Trey wasn't breathing, and she and Gregory left to take Trey and Olivia to the hospital. AJ and Leo reached for Annie. At first, she refused to go to anyone but Gregory. Annie started crying for her father. Leo and AJ pulled Annie across the gap.

SOUTH BAY GENERAL: Tyus tried to talk Michael out of going for Vanessa by cautioning him that the more Michael moves around, the faster Martin's Syndrome will travel through his system. This would lessen his chances for a cure. But Michael was determined, and they decided to rescue Vanessa together.

TYUS'S SUNSET BEACH APARTMENT: The paramedic told Tyus and Michael that he hasn't been able to get backup, and that at least one woman was still trapped in the building. Assuming that the trapped woman was Vanessa, Tyus and Michael rushed into the building to save her. Realizing Vanessa was all right, Michael was so glad to see Vanessa that he didn't even see the marks on her face. They shared a tearful reunion.

Tyus began to rescue Virginia. He told Michael and Vanessa that they needed to lift the debris off of Virginia slowly. There was no time for that, so Michael crawled under the debris to lift it off of Virginia. A grateful Virginia thanked all three of her rescuers.

THE ROAD TO THE HOSPITAL: Gregory asked Olivia why she was in the house, and she replied that she was there to see her -- grandson.

ALL OVER SUNSET BEACH: An aftershock hit! Falling debris landed on Michael and Vanessa.. Dana was trapped alone in the hospital room....AJ, Leo and Annie fell through the floor of the nursery.... Olivia and Gregory got into a car wreck.
