MADAME CARMEN'S SHOP: Carmen looked at Ben and Maria's wedding picture, wondering why she suddenly felt that Maria was very near. Carmen heard the news report about the ship capsizing and feared that Antonio and Ricardo had been killed.

SOUTH BAY GENERAL: Joan told Meg that they will probably have to operate on Hank. When Ben returned from San Francisco, Tyus helped him find Meg. Tim and Dana went for coffee, and just missed Ben and Tyus coming up in the elevator.

Joan got the good news that the equipment that Ben brought allowed the doctors to see that they didn't need to operate after all. Joan, Meg, Ben and Hank shared a happy reunion in his hospital room. Hank asked Ben to keep an eye on Meg and Joan while he was laid up.

Outside, Tim and Dana returned. Dana spotted Ben's keys on the counter and recognized his keychain. She wondered if Ben would be everything that Meg has claimed. Tim admitted to Dana that he still loves Meg. Dana said that she remembered the feeling of loving someone who didn't love her, even though she had no specific memories of the person she loved. When the administrator came to take Dana back to Cedar Oaks, Tim offered to take her back. Ben just missed seeing Tim and Dana again.

SS NEPTUNE II: Gabi rescued Ricardo. He was unconscious, so she gave him CPR. Meanwhile, Sean swam to find out what happened to Ricardo and Gabi. Emily followed him. Brad refused to help Bette and Amy, and took off without them. Amy confessed she didn't know how to swim, so Bette helped Amy swim across the passage. When Brad arrived by himself, Emily decided to go back for Bette. Just as she was about to leave, Bette and Amy arrived.

Ricardo found a blowtorch and started to open a hole in the hull of the ship. Gabi noticed that the boiler was about to explode. Meanwhile, Cole and Antonio decided to climb up the remnants of a ladder through the ship's steam shaft. Both Caitlin and Francesca refused to move until Cole was up. Antonio made it up safely. Cole slipped and Antonio offered to come down and help him, but Cole refused. Cole ordered Caitlin to go with the others, but she refused. He urged her to go home to their son. Cole was burned by a pipe, and fell into the water!
