BEN'S HOUSE: Maria claimed to remember everything -- the house, the tree, her marriage to Ben. She even alleged that she recalled teaching at camp with Casey. After the guests left Ben, Meg and Maria to discuss the apparent sudden return of her memory, Maria left messages for Carmen, Ricardo and Antonio. Maria decided that she had to leave the house. Meanwhile, Ben told Meg that he was skeptical because the emotions that Maria showed seemed staged. Maria walked in just as Meg asked Ben whether he would have been convinced if Maria had declared that she still loved him. Maria told them that she was moving out, because she promised that she would once she regained her memory. Meg tried to convince Maria to stay until she's sure that she has all of her memories.
A BOAT: Gabi gave Antonio the message that she came to deliver: that Juan Sanchez had the Madonna with him. In the process of trying to break down the door, Antonio dislocated his shoulder. He talked Gabi through the process of popping his shoulder back into place. Gabi found some whiskey and gave it to Antonio for his pain. Antonio told Gabi that they might be stuck there all night.
THE BEACH: Ricardo and an officer saw AJ and Francesca running to the beach and intercepted them. The policeman and AJ pulled the body out of the ocean, which turned out not to be Cole. The body had a letter (which, luckily, was in a plastic bag) in its pocket with Antonio's name on it.
SUNSET BEACH POLICE DEPARTMENT: While Ricardo was fretting over his inability to find Antonio, Carmen arrived to tell him that she got the message about Maria's memory coming back. Carmen told Ricardo that Gabi was keeping a secret from him, but Ricardo didn't believe his mother.
The cop brought the translation of the letter to Ricardo. It said that Antonio would restore the Madonna, but the Madonna wasn't really the Madonna and Antonio would have to unveil her. Both officers were stumped about what this could mean.
THE BEACH: When Sara told Tim about Maria's new memories, he tried to convince Sara to help him get Meg back. She informed him that she didn't like him well enough to help him become her brother-in-law. Meanwhile, Casey, Michael and Jimmy saw a crate wash ashore.
VANESSA & MICHAEL'S APARTMENT: Michael told a guilt-ridden Vanessa that he wanted to get another job so that she could stay home if she wanted. He also told her that he wanted to get married as soon as possible.
INN AT SUNSET BEACH: When Francesca panicked, AJ threw her into a cold shower to calm her down. When she was composed, he told her that once they've restored the jewels, Cole will go back to his wife and his son, and then Francesca would leave town. AJ encouraged Francesca to get some rest, so she took a nap on the couch. Francesca awoke from her nap to find a creepy-looking Cole knocking at the door.
