RICHARDS HOUSE: AJ nearly panicked when he discovered Leo's motionless body, but he was only unconscious. Meanwhile, Annie awakened and found herself trapped under Lourdes' dead body. AJ removed Lourdes' body, and Annie was guilt-stricken over having caused Lourdes' death.
AJ tried to help Annie to her feet, but she was trapped. When AJ went to look for something to use as a lever to lift the debris off of Annie, Annie realized that Leo was AJ's son. Leo explained that he came to Sunset Beach see why AJ hadn't come home yet. Annie told him it was because of Cole, and Leo asked who Cole was. Annie responded that Cole was Leo's brother. Leo said that AJ never mentioned another son. When AJ returned, Leo asked him about Cole.
GREGORY'S CAR: Gregory's first thought upon awakening was for
Trey, but he was fine. [SOD Editor's Note: As a matter of fact, this tough little baby was giggling!] Olivia remained unconscious when Gregory tried to wake her up. Gregory started to panic about the thought of losing Olivia forever. Olivia regained consciousness.
Olivia dreamt that all of the obstacles have been removed and that she and Gregory were reunited with Trey, and they were all one happy family. Gregory heard her muttering about "my baby" in her sleep. When she woke up, Olivia was inconsolable until Gregory handed Trey to her. She noticed that Gregory was crying, but he denied it.
Gregory realized how much Olivia loves Trey. He told her that she was mumbling about her baby in her sleep. Gregory asked Olivia how she could have endangered her own child, but be so gentle and tender with someone else's child. Just as Olivia was about to tell Gregory that Trey was her baby, she noticed that something was wrong with him.
TYUS'S SUNSET BEACH APARTMENT: A gas line was broken in the quake. Tyus tried unsuccessfully to stop the gas. Sparks from a broken electrical cable ignited the gas, and Tyus and Virginia were knocked
unconscious by the blast. Tyus regained consciousness, and he started to look in his bag to make sure that the cure was safe, but he passed out again.
Michael and Vanessa had a joyful reunion. Vanessa chastised herself for trying to drive Michael away and finally confessed everything. She told him that she was trying to keep him from giving up his life for her the way her father gave up his for Lena. Michael insisted that he would have been willing to make that sacrifice for her, not because he had a duty to, but because he loves her, and he's nothing without her.
The fire trucks came and rescued Tyus and Virginia. But Michael, Vanessa, and Tyus's medical bag were left in the building.
CEDAR OAKS: Hank was seriously injured after saving Joan from harm. Ben, Meg and Joan took Hank to South Bay General.
Dana, trapped by herself in the room, said the Lord's Prayer in Spanish to herself. Tim and an orderly tried to rescue Dana. The orderly panicked and took off, leaving Tim to rescue Dana alone. When Tim made it into the room, Dana shied away from him.
SOUTH BAY GENERAL: They got Hank to the hospital without incident. Meg blamed herself for Hank's condition, because if she'd never moved to Sunset Beach, her father would have been in Kansas when the quake hit.
