BEN'S HOUSE: Despite Quint's insistence that Maria's alive, Ben didn't believe him. However, eventually, Ben remembered how he had seen Maria recently and finally agreed to go along with Quint, insisting that he's going to marry Meg, no matter what.
CEDAR OAKS: Annie paid the orderly off, and he told them that "Dana" was at the Marina.
MADAME CARMEN'S SHOP: Carmen put the gun in her purse and headed out.
ST. JOSEPH'S: Hank surprised Meg with her repaired string of pearls. She was thrilled! Meg told her parents and attendants that not even Maria's ghost would ruin her wedding day. Vanessa gave Meg her something old: an antique handkerchief that she'd just bought that morning. Gabi gave her something new: a pearl bracelet to match her necklace.
Michael showed Casey the ring he had bought for Vanessa and revealed he planned to officially pop the question tonight. Casey was stunned by how beautiful Sara was in her bridesmaid's dress, and they both agreed that they'd enjoy going out after the reception. Casey admitted to Sara that he hadn't seen Ben. Later, Casey reluctantly told Sara about seeing Ben calling out to Maria on the beach the previous night.
Antonio fantasized about marrying Ricardo and Gabi, only Ricardo changed to Antonio in the middle of it. Ricardo walked in and, seeing Antonio's discomfort, thought that Antonio was having second thoughts about performing Ben and Meg's wedding. Ricardo confided in his brother about his concerns that Carmen will do something to ruin the wedding.
Hank and Meg shared a tender father/daughter moment. He gushed that he was proud of the person she had become. Then it was Joan's turn to be alone with their daughter. Meg thanked her mother for giving her the courage to go to Sunset Beach in the first place.
Meg thanked Antonio for putting aside his hard feelings about Maria's death to perform their wedding. Antonio told her that true love is more rare than most people think.
Bette told Ricardo that she understands that congratulations are due for him. When he was confused, she told him that he would see what she was talking about.
Sara and Meg reminisced about riding their bikes to the church to watch the weddings on Saturdays. Then Sara broke the news to Meg that Ben hadn't arrived at the church yet.
THE MARINA: Ben finally started to believe Quint when a passerby said that he saw a beautiful woman with long brown hair get on the Mariah. However, when Ben encountered Annie and Tim on the Mariah, he decided that they must have hired a lookalike to fool everyone into thinking that Maria was still alive. He tore into them, and assured them he was going to marry Meg today. As she ran away from the Mariah, Maria suddenly remembered Ben and Meg's wedding.
Annie got angry with Tim for encouraging her to keep Maria a secret from Ben. Tim told Annie that if worst comes to worst, they could always show Ben and Meg the picture of Annie and Maria and stop the wedding when Meg realized that her good friend "Dana" is really Maria. Annie at first argued that Meg will never believe it, but Tim pointed out that Ben would recognize that photo as genuine.
HERE COMES THE BRIDE: Ben dodged Casey's questions about his whereabouts. Meg and Ben promised that they love each other more than anything else. The men filed in to start the wedding. Carmen arrived, sat down, and took the gun from her purse. Casey escorted Joan to her seat. As the bridesmaids filed in, the violin and harp played Ave Maria. Hank and Meg entered the church. Meanwhile, Maria finally arrived at the church!
