THE ISLAND: Casey and Sara were relieved when Ben and Meg arrived. They informed Casey and Sara that their friends survived the tidal wave, and told them about the earthquake.

Meg told Sara that she never knew that Sara has always felt second best. Meg thought it was funny, because she always wanted to be more like Sara, since Sara was willing to take risks, but Meg always played it safe. When Sara pointed out that Meg took a risk when she left town and moved to California, Meg said that it was because she asked herself what Sara would do in her situation.

When Casey and Ben returned, Ben and Meg left Casey and Sara alone for a minute. Sara confessed that she was not ready to go back to Sunset Beach again. Casey assured Sara that the reporters had gone on to something new, and the scandal was over. He promised that whatever happened, she was not going to face it alone.

ELSEWHERE: Someone developed the film and recognized Sara as the woman who had an affair with Congressman Blythe.

BEN'S HOUSE: Just as they arrived, Casey and Sara were accosted by reporters asking about the pictures of them. Sara wasn't pleased when Casey declared there wasn't a romantic relationship between himself and Sara.

SURF CENTRAL: Tyus assured Virginia and Vanessa that he discovered the cure once, and he can do it again. When Vanessa fretted that Michael had been unconscious too long, Tyus reassured her that it was just a result of the sedative he gave him.

After Tyus and Virginia left, Vanessa mourned the future that she and Michael aren't going to have if he dies. While she was crying, Michael woke up. She blamed herself for Michael's illness.

MRS. MOREAU'S: Virginia went to get Mrs. Moreau to cure Michael, but she insisted that Virginia herself was the only person with the power to cure Michael. She urged Virginia to confess the truth to Vanessa, but she vehemently refused.

DON'T DREAM IT'S OVER: Francesca tried to kiss Cole, but he avoided her by leaving to see Trey. On his way out, Cole ran into Antonio, who asked him if it was as strange for Cole to be around Francesca again as it was for Antonio. Cole reminded Antonio he was a married man. Meanwhile, Caitlin stormed into Francesca's room. Mrs. Deschanel informed her that she knows that Cole and she were close once, but that his heart belonged to Caitlin now.

After Caitlin left, Francesca told Antonio that she had no intention of hurting Caitlin and Cole. Antonio suggested that Francesca examine how her recent experience has changed her. He also said that he hoped that she could make her peace with what happened. She has been presented with an opportunity to start again. Left alone in her room, Francesca said that there's one choice she's made in her life that she regrets and always will. Later, Cole dropped by to wish Francesca well. Seething after seeing the happy little family of Caitlin, Cole and Trey leave together, Francesca vowed things weren't over between them.

SECRETS AND LIES: AJ suggested blackmailing Dr. Brock into telling them the truth. Olivia tried to dissuade AJ, but he insisted. Annie reminded Olivia that if the truth comes out, everything would unravel. So, Olivia told AJ that she was drinking heavily the night she lost the baby and the next thing she remembered was waking up in the cabin. AJ asked about the flashes of memory that she's had. She claimed that she convinced herself that the baby was alive because of her shame over what she did. When Olivia asked if he hates her, AJ said that he'd do anything for her. Soon after, Annie gloated about how much fun it was watching Olivia lie to save Caitlin's feelings.

Later, Annie ran into her Uncle Charles, who was trying to get some new clients from the recent disasters. Olivia overheard Annie say she married Gregory to obtain her inheritance, and gloat that now she had everything that she wanted.
