SOUTH BAY GENERAL: Virginia explained that Michael was hot on Vanessa's trail. She thought it would just be a matter of time before Michael found Vanessa. Virginia tried to stop Tyus from working on a cure. Tyus insisted that Vanessa deserves everything he can give her, and Virginia realized that he loves Vanessa. Tyus denied it, but Virginia didn't believe him. She suggested that Tyus take Vanessa out of town to find the cure; that way, he could have her all to himself. Tyus told Virginia that he knows that she's after Michael and he refused to listen to Virginia's schemes. Tyus came up with another potential cure. The only glitch was that it could cure her -- or kill her! He decided that he had to test out on someone else before giving it to Vanessa.

IN AN UNKNOWN PLACE: Phillip declared that he has waited years to get his revenge on Cole. The only thing that could stop it was if Cole didn't make it to the cruise. Phillip informed Francesca that they were going on a cruise.

RICHARDS HOUSE: Bette told Ben and Meg that Olivia flipped out at the baptism. Gregory introduced Ben and Meg to AJ. Annie hoped that Olivia will come to terms with the fact that Caitlin was raising her baby. Sean stopped Annie from eavesdropping on Olivia and Caitlin. He used Annie's role in finding a baby for Caitlin to blackmail Annie into not interfering with Caitlin's life again.

Olivia told Caitlin a mother deserves to be with her child, and Caitlin said that she knows what Olivia was there to talk about. Caitlin told Olivia that she knows about the plan to take her baby and tell her it was dead. She knew that Gregory was trying to protect her from someone that he thought was bad for her. Olivia was surprised that Caitlin talked to Gregory about it, and she said that the only reason she didn't discuss it with Olivia was because the loss of her baby was enough to deal with. Caitlin told Olivia that she knew that Olivia would never go through with Gregory's plan because she's a mother. No mother would never knowingly take a baby from its mother, especially since she bonded to Trey the first time she held him. Trey made her whole.

Bette informed Gregory that she knows that he's up to something. Ben told Meg that they have to leave due to a minor emergency. Bette noticed that Annie was jumpy and asked her what's wrong. Annie admitted that her marriage may be about to end.

Caitlin told Cole that she wanted to go on the cruise after all. Cole was upset that she left Olivia alone with Trey, and he went upstairs after her. He alked in on Olivia crying about letting Trey go. Cole told Olivia that after seeing her with Trey, he was not going to keep her from seeing him.

CEDAR OAKS: Vanessa headed to the hospital after hearing that her mother was being transferred out of town due to complications. She was disappointed when she got to the hospital too late, and didn't have a chance to say good-bye to her mother before she left. Dr. Estrada told Vanessa that a man was asking her about Lena, saying that he was Vanessa's cousin. Vanessa said that she doesn't have a cousin. Vanessa hid when Michael approached Dr. Estrada and overheard him telling her that he knows that Vanessa has Martin's Syndrome. He asked Dr. Estrada to tell Tyus that he'll keep looking for him. Later, Dr. Estrada tried to convince Vanessa to let Michael help her.

BEN'S HOUSE: Ben has turned their bedroom into a love nest filled with flowers and candles. He promised never to let anyone come between them again. They made love.

TYUS'S SUNSET BEACH APARTMENT: While she was packing to leave town, Vanessa realized that leaving Sunset Beach might be the worst thing she can do to Michael.

ALL OVER SUNSET BEACH: Everyone felt the earth move (maybe Ben & Meg felt it twice!) when the first tremor hit.
