FAIR WARNING: Bette confronted Gregory about Annie's intent to land him now that he is a free man. Gregory blew her off.
WILD GOOSE CHASE: Ricardo and Casey broke in the front door of the cabin. When it was obvious that no one had been at the cabin in for years, Ricardo called Ben, demanding to know where Meg really was. Ben insisted that he didn't know. Ricardo had his doubts about Ben's story, but Casey believed it.
THE CABIN: When Derek sat her down and tried to feed her the soup, a suspicious Meg "accidentally" dropped it on the floor. Meg cleaned up the mess, and Derek thought it was time Meg told the truth. Meg admitted that she knew that he was Derek and that he killed Ben. Derek explained to Meg that everyone favored Ben over him; it took him years to plan his revenge. He had an affair with Maria, which destroyed
Ben's ability to trust others. Then Meg came along and taught Ben to trust again. Finally, Derek determined that the best revenge would be to become Ben. There were only two things standing in between him and that goal, Meg and Mark, who would notice the differences between the twins. So he decided to kill them both. And if he really wanted Ben's life, he had to have Meg, too. A fuming Derek told Meg it was time for her to join her precious Ben -- in death!
RICHARDS HOUSE: Olivia returned Spike, who ran away, to Gregory. They shared a tender moment. Gregory gently grabbed Olivia's hand, but she quickly pulled away. She told him she was meeting AJ and trying to get information about the baby from Dr. Brock. He thanked her for bringing Spike home.
OLIVIA'S HOUSE: Olivia has second thoughts about divorcing Gregory, but then decided that she made the right decision.
SUNSET BEACH POLICE DEPARTMENT: Ben realized that Derek took Meg to the cabin where he and Maria spent their honeymoon, which he sold years ago. Gabi asked one of the officers to get in touch with Ricardo, but Ben shook her off. Ben informed her that it would take Ricardo hours to get to the old cabin. If Ricardo called in backup, Derek would know that Ricardo was coming long before he could get there, and Derek wouldn't hesitate to kill Meg. He then sent Antonio from the room
and persuaded Gabi to help him escape. Antonio saw Gabi trying to lift the keys. He wondered if she'd thought through the consequences of her actions. She knew that it might not be legally right, but legalities didn't measure up against the value of saving Meg's life. Later, Gabi convinced Cole to help her break Ben out of jail. Antonio offered to move her car to where it was convenient for her to put Ben into it. Gabi distracted Ben's guard long enough for Cole to break him out. But, just as Ben was about to get away, the guard stopped him!
Annie barged into the bedroom to tell Cole about Caitlin's lie. He responded that he knew that she was just trying to get attention because Caitlin didn't want her to be Trey's godmother. He blasted Annie about her affair with Gregory. Annie gave Caitlin one last opportunity to be her advocate with Gregory, and Caitlin took it. Annie eavesdropped when Caitlin told Gregory that it would be okay with her if Gregory pursued a relationship with Annie. After Caitlin left, Gregory told Annie he was grateful for her support over the last week. Annie announced to Gregory that she couldn't continue to be his mistress; she has to be his wife.
