BEN'S HOUSE: When the repaired painting of Maria was returned, Meg
flew off the handle about it before Ben can explain that he intended to give it
to Carmen. He told her that he wanted to repair the damage that he did to
the painting. He confessed when he damaged it, he wanted to hurt Maria,
and now he doesn't want to hurt Maria anymore. He explained his plan to
give the painting to Carmen. At first, Meg panicked at the thought that Ben
still loves Maria. Then she realized that when Ben gives his heart, he gives it
completely and forever. She apologized for overreacting.
Ben told Meg about his plan to find "Dana's" identity. He planned to run her
photo on TV and on the Internet. He believed that one of her loved ones
was sure to turn up. Later, Meg admitted to Joan that she has never seen a
picture of Maria except for the portrait, because she has never wanted
Maria to be that real.
INN AT SUNSET BEACH: Annie climbed in the shower with Gregory.
He wanted to fool around, but she says that she wanted to talk business.
She knew that he has a 500-share advantage over Ben and AJ combined in
the Liberty Corporation. Gregory didn't remember Tim's shares at first, until
Annie reminded him. She suggested that whoever controlled those shares
could control the Liberty Corporation in the event that Ben and AJ sided
together against Gregory. Then she broke the new to him that she controls
Tim's shares.
After a passionate argument, Gregory and Annie hit the sheets, but
suddenly, she stopped. Annie bet Gregory that she could resist his charms
longer than he can resist hers. The stakes are Tim's shares against Annie's.
In order to give herself a head start on the bet, Annie decided to slip
Gregory some "Niagra," to rev up his sex drive.
SPERM BANK: Virginia arrived, a cooler of dry ice in hand, to get Tyus's
sperm. While waiting for attention, Virginia fantasized about Vanessa giving
birth to a baby with Tyus's face. When she found out how difficult it is to
become approved for artificial insemination, Virginia decided to impersonate
a new doctor to get the sperm.
CEDAR OAKS: Maria overheard Tim talking about "Maria." Tim claimed
that Maria was a good friend who was going through a rough time at the
moment. Tim confessed to Maria about Meg finding him with Connie the
day of their wedding. He said that his feelings for Meg scared him, so he
cheated on her. Maria commented that Connie was safe, because he didn't
have any fear of falling in love with her. Showing him the picture she drew of
Ben, Maria told Tim that Dr. Estrada thinks that if she keeps drawing, she
may end up drawing someone from her past.
Maria had difficulty on a drawing of Meg, which made her wonder why it
was so easy to draw the picture of Ben when she'd only seen a picture of
him once, and it was so difficult to draw a picture of Meg, whom she knows
so well.
Ben arrived and asked for "Dana." Meanwhile, Maria told Dr. Estrada
about her dream that someone was trying to rescue her. Ben walked to
Maria's room and put his hand on the doorknob.
