SS NEPTUNE II
RESCUE MISSION: Ricardo tried to rally the passengers
to leave the
ballroom, but the stubborn crewmember refused to go
anywhere. Several
others agreed with him, believing he had the better
knowledge of the boat.
Ricardo found a railing that they could use as a
ladder to climb out of the
ballroom, but a number of people were skeptical. Gabi
offered to be the
first person to test the railing. After she
successfully made it up, some others
(Sean, Emily, Bette, Ricardo, Amy, and Brad) climbed
up the railing, while
some passengers opted to stay behind.
EDUCATION PAYING OFF!: Casey got the door open just in
the nick
of time. He and Sara rushed through the hallways,
which were quickly filling
up with water. While trying to make it to safety, Sara
insisted on taking care
of a large cut Casey had on his arm. He was impressed
by her expertise.
Sara explained Casey that she was a pre-med major, but
she decided she
couldn't hack medical school, so she quit.
TALK ABOUT SCREWED UP PRIORITIES!: Melinda realized
that if
Sara died, she'd be a martyr and no one would buy her
book.
A DEAD END?: There was another explosion! When the
walls of the
dining room started to cave in, the people in the
dining room scrambled onto
the railing, which collapsed. Only Melinda and the
cameraman made it to the
top. Ricardo and the gang in the kitchen were
horrified to hear the screams
of the others trapped in the ballroom! Antonio wanted
to go back and help,
but Ricardo convinced him it was hopeless. When she
caught up to the
others, Melinda realized that she left the galley door
open on her way
through, and that water was coming in through it!
Ricardo went ahead to
check things out. When he returned, he admitted that
things were worse
than he thought.
TYUS'S SUNSET BEACH APARTMENT: When Michael told
Vanessa that he gave himself Martin's Syndrome to test
Tyus's cure,
Vanessa lost her temper. She'd rather die herself than
see Michael hurt!
Michael insisted that he did it for her, because he
could handle anything life
threw at him, as long as he had her.
Meanwhile, Virginia discovered the cure in Tyus's
medical bag. When
Virginia realized that Michael and Vanessa were still
trapped in the building,
she went in after them. The police officer tried to
stop her and in the scuffle,
she dropped the vial.
MADAME CARMEN'S SHOP: Carmen prayed for God to watch
over
her children -- all three of them. While reading her
Tarot cards, Carmen
realized that Ricardo and Antonio were in danger.
CUMMINGS HOUSE: Meg told Dana how much she wished that
she
hadn't brought her parents to Sunset Beach. Upon
seeing Meg's concern for
her family, Dana confessed Meg that she wished she had
a family. Later,
Dana had another memory flash when Meg told her about
how close Mark
and Ben were. Meg told Dana about Mark, and how his
death reminded
Ben how he couldn't save someone else that he loved
very much. Dana saw
a picture of Ben and Meg together. Meg said that she
felt that she might
have made a new friend in Dana.
