SOUTH BAY GENERAL: When she saw Ben and Meg kissing, Maria had a panic attack. Meg watched Ben calm Maria down to end the attack. When she heard Ben telling Maria that he would be there for her, she left. When Ben caught up to her, Meg said that she caused the panic attack. She also told him that every time she sees him with Maria, she feels just like Maria felt when she saw them kissing. She decided that she shouldn't let herself get close to him again. Maria remembered seeing Ben and Meg kissing and screamed for Ben to come back. Ricardo told Ben that Maria was upset and calling for him. Meg urged him to go, and that she needed some time alone. Maria told Ben that she couldn't give him a divorce.
THE DEEP: Caitlin thought that the guy with the knife was the blackmailer, but after he denied it, she realized that she was mistaken. She beat the would-be thief up with the briefcase, and he ran away.
RICHARDS HOUSE: Olivia came to see her family. She saw the bill from the emergency room and asked Cole what he did to her baby. Cole told Olivia that Trey had an ear infection, and then he interrogated her about why she called Trey her son again, asking why she sees their son every time she looks at Trey. He went on to say that every time she denies that something happened between them, it's like losing the baby over again.
COULD IT BE?: Annie showed Gregory a picture of Trey and challenged him to not see a resemblance to Cole. Gregory didn't believe Annie, so she explained how she eavesdropped on Olivia's confession. She tried to explain that she set everything right with what she did -- gave Caitlin a baby, punished Olivia for being unfaithful, and kept Gregory from raising Cole's son to be his heir. Annie finally started to get through to Gregory when she asked him why Olivia she didn't tell Gregory when she found out that Trey was her son. She told him that it was because she didn't want the truth to come out. Suddenly, it all made sense -- how Olivia tried to talk him out of tracking down the woman that Cole was sleeping with, why it took so long to tell him that she was pregnant, why Cole went for Dr. Brock's file on Olivia. He finally believed Annie. Gregory realized that if he ever tried to get Trey, everything would come out, and that Cole would win custody of him because he's the innocent victim, so either way, Cole wins. Then he realized that he had to keep Cole from finding out the truth -- which meant getting back the note that he left. Annie realized that Gregory set Cole up.
SURF CENTRAL: Meg took off her rings, saying that she can't wear them because they're not married.
THE DEEP: Just as Caitlin was checking the money, Cole arrived in the alley asked Caitlin what she was doing.
