CUMMINGS HOUSE: Hank and Joan were stunned by the tape on which Sara confesses to the affair with Congressman Blythe. An angry Hank threatened the reporters. Joan asked Sara if the tape was a fake. Sara finally admitted to the affair with Congressman Blythe. She explained that she was flattered that Congressman Blythe paid attention to her ideas; no one had ever treated her an number one before. She confessed that things got carried away.

ST. JOSEPH'S: Bette informed Antonio that she'll be covering the cruise for The Sentinel. Caitlin worried about leaving Trey to go on the cruise. While watching Cole cuddle Trey, Bette admitted that she misses her own daughter. She explained her daughter lives with her father, and they're just too busy to see much of each other.

THE TRUTH COMES OUT: Olivia told Annie that it's detestable how she gave Olivia's baby to Caitlin. Annie informed her that Caitlin lost her baby because of Olivia: Caitlin had a miscarriage after the car accident. At first, Olivia didn't believe Annie when she claimed that Caitlin knew about Gregory's plan to take her baby and tell her that it had died. Annie revealed that Caitlin was driving so erratically because she knew about the plan. Annie explained that Caitlin thought that Cole would leave her if she wasn't pregnant. She also told Olivia that Caitlin is now infertile. Olivia asked if Caitlin knew that Trey is Olivia's. Annie replied that she told Caitlin that the mother was an unwed teenager. Olivia threatened to expose Annie. Annie pointed out that Annie would lose that way, but Olivia would lose, too, because losing Trey would break Caitlin's heart.

Back in the church, Olivia almost went through with being Trey's godmother. However, at the last second, a highly upset Olivia revealed, "I can't do this." She clutched the baby close to her.

BEN'S HOUSE: Meg told Ben that she was having a hard time dealing with everything that they've been through. He said that they needed to deal with it, or else Derek would win. Meg was about to tell Ben about sleeping with Derek when Casey called to tell her that Sara told Hank and Joan the truth about her affair.

CUMMINGS HOUSE: Meg offered to talk to Sara privately, but Sara refused. Sara told her family that her job in Washington was the only time she has ever felt equal to Meg. When Sara left, Meg wanted to go after her, but Casey went instead. Joan was consumed with guilt because Sara wouldn't come to them. Meg tried to explain Sara couldn't come to them because she didn't want to hurt them. Ben offered to make any arrangements that Sara needed for legal representation.

THE BEACH: Casey told Sara that he thought that Melinda taped their conversation, but Sara refused to believe him. When she said that she couldn't handle being hounded by the press anymore, Casey promised to do everything he can to help her.

WASHINGTON DC: Her agent convinced Melinda to go back to Sunset Beach and face Sara. That way she can catch Sara's reaction to Melinda, and her opinions about Congressman Blythe, on camera.

BEN'S HOUSE: Ben told Meg that she and Sara both put taking care of themselves aside to protect those they love. Just as Meg was about to tell Ben about sleeping with Derek, he said that he knows.
