SS NEPTUNE II

WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING: Sara overheard Amy pass a nasty comment about her. Casey reassured her, chivalrously taking her arm and complimenting her. Sara felt better, and they danced. Melinda approached Sara on the dance floor, burst into false tears and proclaimed how ashamed she was of herself in a loud voice. She apologized for taping Sara without her knowledge. She announced that she had found a way to make it up to Sara. She handed Sara an envelope, and claimed the videotape was in there. She declared she'd send an e-mail to her agent that she was not going to write her book after all. They didn't believe her, but she begged them to come to her stateroom. Sara wondered if Melinda was telling the truth, and Casey tried to figure out what Melinda was up to. Meanwhile, in her stateroom, Melinda opened a bottle of wine and put sleeping pills in it....

ROMANCE ON DECK: Gabi told Ricardo that the night was so perfect, she couldn't ask for more. He had a present for her: a telescope. Gabi was moved; no one had ever given her feelings that much thought before. Ricardo told her to get used to having someone around who thinks about her feelings. They danced.

CONFRONTATION: Antonio was not pleased to see Phillip. Phillip explained that he underwrote the entire cruise to support Antonio's work, both in Sunset Beach and in Mexico. It was the least he can do after everything the people of Rosario gave him. Antonio responded that Rosario didn't give Phillip anything -- Phillip took what he wanted. Phillip reminded him that he had Antonio's blessing. Antonio argued that Phillip tricked him. Phillip reminded Antonio that he could not go back to Mexico.

A DRESS TO THE RESCUE: Not knowing who Sean's date was, Bette wheedled a gown out of Francesca for Emily to wear. Meanwhile, Amy denied ruining Emily's dress. Emily asked if Amy thought her behavior was going to impress Sean. Later, Sean asked Emily if she was avoiding Bette, since every time he tried to introduce the two, she disappeared. Emily said that Bette spoke to her through the door of the changing room, but that they didn't meet face to face. Amy came over to brag about having ruined Emily's dress. Bette brought the dress to Sean, who remarked that it looked like it would fit Emily. Bette revealed to Caitlin and Sean that she got the dress from Francesca. Sean, dressed in his tux, gave the gown to Emily. AN UNWELCOME GIFT: Someone sent Caitlin an anonymous gift: a diamond bracelet. Caitlin assumed it was from Cole, but Cole thought it was from Phillip. Cole informed Caitlin that he didn't send her the bracelet. Cole confronted Francesca, accusing her of intentionally walking in on him and Caitlin, but she denied it. He asked her why she sent Caitlin the bracelet. She insisted that she didn't send the bracelet to Caitlin, but that Phillip may very well have sent it to her. Cole demanded to know what kind of game Phillip was playing.

RICHARDS HOUSE: AJ admitted that Cole was his first-born son, and that he left Sunset Beach before he knew that Cole's mother was pregnant. Leo was hurt that AJ claimed he was Sunset Beach on business. AJ realized that Annie was trying to cause trouble between him and Leo. He explained that he never intended to have Leo find out about Cole's existence that way.

Leo left the room, and AJ nearly followed him, until Annie pointed out to him that she was still trapped. AJ promised that if he loses Leo because of her, she'd pay. She swore that she wasn't aware that Leo didn't know about Cole. Leo returned. At first, he couldn't bring himself to go into the house, but finally he came in and offered to help AJ free Annie.

SEISMOLOGY OFFICE: A seismologist reported that the epicenter of the second quake was offshore....
