SS NEPTUNE II

THE CONFRONTATION, LET'S GO TO THE VIDEOTAPE: The cameraman caught Sara slapping Melinda on film. Melinda and Sara had it out, and Melinda insisted that she told the truth for Sara's own good. Casey spotted the cameraman and chased him out of the room. When she realized that she was no longer being taped, Melinda refused to speak to Sara further.

Casey hid Sara in the casino and then headed out to look for the cameraman. Melinda found Sara. Melinda confessed to Sara that she set Sara up because she was jealous of how close Sara and Congressman Blythe were. Melinda had loved Congressman Blythe for years but he never looked at her twice. When Casey returned, Melinda's sarcastic parting comment was that Casey and Sara were perfect for each other.

Casey told Sara how proud he was of her for standing up to Melinda. Sara said that now that she knew what Melinda was really about, there was nothing Melinda could do to hurt her anymore. Meanwhile, Melinda informed the cameraman that she has come up with another plan....

REMEMBER WHEN: Phillip needled Francesca about how Cole chose to marry a woman who was so dissimilar from her. Meanwhile, Cole remembered how Francesca used Phillip to make him jealous.

Phillip discovered Cole and Caitlin smooching on a rollaway bed in the storage room. He arranged it so Francesca would go to the storage room and walk in on Caitlin and Cole making love.

CONSTRUCTION SITE: A stranger rescued Gregory, then asked him if he had seen AJ. Gregory pointed out which pile of debris AJ was under and then he bolted. He soon returned and tried to buy the young man's car from him. He refused to sell it, because he needed to take AJ to the hospital. Gregory tried to impress on him how important it was to him to get to Trey, but he finally realized that if he was going to get a car, he had to help the young man dig AJ out. When they unearthed AJ, he was unconscious. AJ came to and recognized Leo. Gregory was surprised when AJ called Leo "my son."

CEDAR OAKS: Ben and Tim argued over which was the better way to get out of the room -- by pushing the debris away from the door, or by climbing out through the air duct. When Tim finally opened the vent, he realized that he couldn't get through it.

Tim told Ben that he has hurt Meg enough already with all of his secrets. So far the biggest secret that Ben kept from Meg was Derek, but Tim suspected Ben's past held more unpleasant surprises for Meg. He also told Ben that he was still obsessing over Maria. Ben declared that Tim has come between them enough already, and he wasn't going to come between them anymore.

The mystery woman told Meg that she didn't know her name, but that she knew that it wasn't Dana. She was nearly killed in a car accident several weeks ago. They called her Dana because they found her at Dana Point. Her car blew up right after they rescued her from it, and she didn't have any ID on her. She cried because no one ever came looking for her.

Dana told Meg that she knows that she was coming to Sunset Beach for a reason. When Dana wanted to leave the room, Meg tried to get her used to the idea of seeing the body of the dead nurse. When they opened the door, the hallway was completely blocked off.

Dana commented that the nurse looked peaceful, then she said "Vaya con Dios. Duerme con los angeles." ("Go with God. Sleep with the angels.") Then she crossed herself. Meg pointed out that Dana spoke Spanish, and Dana wondered how she learned the language.

In an attempt to change the subject, Dana asked Meg about her fiance. When Meg said Ben's name, the name registered with Dana, who surprised Meg when she said that she knows what Benjamin means -- "son of my right hand." Meg explained how she met Ben over the Internet, and how important it was to hear those three little words -- "You have mail." Dana thought Meg's story was wonderful, and wondered if she ever had a love like that in her life.

Dana asked Meg if she met Ben's family. Dana had another flash when Meg mentioned Derek, describing him as Ben's identical twin brother, who died recently. Dana believed that twins figured prominently her life, too.
