INN AT SUNSET BEACH: Caitlin lit into Cole for not keeping a regular schedule, and he admitted that he wasn't working late. He told her that he left work early to buy her a picnic basket to make up for missing her picnic with Trey earlier.

After Caitlin took Trey for a walk, Cole began working on the Lance Hadjes mystery. Sydney told them that Lance Hadjes' last known address was in St. Etienne, France, but there are no one in St. Etienne, France with that name. Cole then realized that Lance Hadjes is an alias.

Leo arrived for dinner. He spotted the map of France that Cole had been looking at, and remarked that St. Etienne is one of AJ's favorite places. After Caitlin and Trey returned, and Leo left, Cole was picking up Trey's blocks. Suddenly, he realized that Lance Hadjes is an anagram for AJ Deschanel.

GRENADINE'S: An impatient Francesca waited for Olivia. AJ approached her and issued her a final warning to leave Sunset Beach -- or else. Francesca gave up waiting for Olivia.

SEA BREEZE MOTEL: Olivia snooped around Francesca's room for dirt on Cole. Olivia found the picture of the Madonna and realized that the ruby at the top of the crown was on the necklace that AJ tried to give her.

GRENADINE'S: Olivia told AJ that she had heard that someone had jewelry stolen from their hotel room. AJ reassured her that the necklace was safe in his room. When Olivia asked him where he got the necklace, he told her that the rubies came at a very high price.

THE CLUB

REMEMBER WHEN?: Annie reminded Ben how devastated he was when he thought that Maria was dead. When he asked her to stop, she asked him if he wants Maria back. Ben told Annie, and all of the other witnesses, that when he married Meg, he never meant anything more than his wedding vows -- ever. Annie pressed Ben to admit that he would never have looked at Meg twice if he'd known that Maria was alive.

INQUIRING MIND: Maria demanded to know what everyone was keeping from her. Meg insisted that she wanted Dr. Estrada's approval before telling her about her connection to Ben. Maria said that the idea of remembering was less frightening once she knew that a wonderful man like Ben was a part of her life. She asked Meg to reassure her that she, Maria and Ben will all be friends when she regains her memory.

TIME TO RETIRE: Meg told Ben that Maria could tell that they're keeping something from her, but that Meg didn't tell her the truth. Meg said that Dr. Estrada would be taking Maria back to Cedar Oaks for the night. Carmen insisted that that Maria come home with her, but Dr. Estrada took Maria to Cedar Oaks anyway. After Maria left, Meg realized that they were supposed to have left for their honeymoon an hour previous. Ben and Meg went home.

WORDS OF COMFORT: Gregory asked Annie to admit that she knew that Maria was alive before she showed up at the wedding. However, she was so distraught that Maria didn't recognize her that he comforted her. He said that everyone knows that Maria and Annie were best friends and that someday they'll be best friends again. When Gregory left the room, Annie vowed to get Maria and Ben back together again.

CEDAR OAKS: Maria despaired she would never remember anything. Dr. Estrada told Maria that Ben and Meg are staying in town to help her regain her memories. Maria was touched that they cared that much. While getting ready for bed, Maria practiced saying her name, but it still meant nothing to her.

BEN'S HOUSE: Hank and Joan offered to let Meg stay with them for the night, but Meg insisted that this is her home, and that she belongs with Ben. They said their farewells, and Hank, Joan, Sara and Casey left.

Ben told Meg that although he's not sure if they're married, he'll never stop loving her. As Meg undressed, she remembered being given each piece of jewelry that she was wearing.
