                                          CHEMICAL  REACTION

Drew and Selena couldn't stand each other  when they first crossed paths on Guiding Light.  Little did they  know that they share a special connection - they are mother and daughter.   Selena discovered the truth first, but kept it from Drew as the two slowly  became friends.  The you-know-what hit the fan recently when  Drew found out Selena had lied to her, and viewers got to  watch another dazzling display of fireworks between two actors who shine on  their own but together blind the viewer with their remarkable chemistry.   To see how Blanchard and D'Arbanville mix it up offscreen,  SOAP OPERA WEEKLY posed the same set of questions to them separately.

What famous pair is most reminiscent of your characters?
TB:  Thelma and Louise
PD :   Lucy and Ethel

What's the funniest thing about your co-star?
TB:  She doubts herself.  She gets upset, thinking [her performance] is no good.
PD:  She  says, "Yo," in front of everything.  "Yo, I'm so in love..."

If the world ended tomorrow, what would yoo regret not having done?
TB: Nothing,  because I do everything I want to do.
PD: Well,  you know, I've done just about everything.  I guess I would have no  regrets    whatsoever.

In what genre would people find the movie of your life?
TB: Comedy
PD: Film  noir

What daily task do you perform with the most joy?
TB:  Praying
PD:  Early  morning things with my kids.

Under what word would we find you in the dictionary?
TB: Crazy
PD:  Adaptable

If you could be a fly on the wall, where would you go?
TB:  My  ex-boyfriend's room, when his new girlfriend is there.
PD:  A  meeting  with all the people who are deciding what's going on in our country.

What do you think is the greatest unsolved  mystery of them all?
TB: The  Bible code
PD: The  Shroud of Turin

What's the biggest difference between men and  women?
TB:  Women don't lie, and men do.
PD:   I don't  think there is that much difference in the long run.  (Pause) Actually,
         I think women listen.

If you were to write a book, which topic would you choose?
TB:  Strenght survival and God
PD:   Cooking

Name something that you and your co-star always  disagree about.
TB:  Whether  we are good or not.  She's always telling me I'm good.  I'm always  telling
         her that she's good, and we're both like,  "No."
PD:  Her  talent

What word would someone never use to describe  your co-star?
TB:  Boring
PD:  Unobstrusive
