Krissy Carlson plays "Amy Nielsen," a spoiled rich kid who will go to great lengths to get what she wants; on SUNSET BEACH, the first daytime drama from executive producer Aaron Spelling.
Krissy is a native of California, born in Covina and grew up in Laverne. Krissy is the youngest of three. She has an older sister, Jenni and brother Tim. She attended St. Lucy's an all girls school. In her sophomore year in high school, Krissy began modeling.
After graduating high school in 1996, she attended Cal State Northridge for a year. There she was a cheerleader for the basketball team. Krissy was also a California Angel's girl for their 1997 season. This was about the time that the acting bug hit Krissy.
Krissy Began studying acting with Sandy Marshall. She booked a guest starring roles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer at one of her first auditions. She then went on and made guest appearances on Unhappily Ever After, Ellen, The Naked Truth and Pacific Palisades. Krissy also appeared with Rose Mcgowan in the feature Devil in the Flesh recently on HBO.
In Between her auditions, Krissy recurred on Sunset Beach as "Amy" who went on the cruise to break up "Emily" and "Sean." Not only did she survive the Shockwave storyline, she also was put on contract.
In Krissy's spare time she loves to dance and is learning the art of poker. She is single and currently resides in the valley with her best friend from high school. Her birthday is August 10. From NBC Daytime
