Ask Sunset Beach's Jason George (Michael) what his best feature is, and he won't cite his perfect pecs or awesome abs. George believes his two best features are...his eyebrows.
"I can raise each of them independently - I've always been very proud of that," he says with a laugh. "I actually trained them to do that when I was in preschool because I wanted to be like Six Million Dollar Man, who always raised one eyebrow. So I practiced until I could do it!"
Today, George takes staying in tip-top shape just as seriously. Running is his first line of defense. "Near my house, there's a playground halfway up a hill," he says. "So I work out in the playground, either on my way running up the hill or on the way down, depending on how I feel. It's a steep hill, a couple of miles long, and I'm hurting when I'm done," admits George, who does that one to three times a week.
"I go to the gym, too," he adds. "I've only recently gotten into the habit of lifting weights. I like to do things you can do without machines, like dips, leg lifts and crunches. Leg lifts are great because they work your abs completely. But my favorite exercise is crunches because if you do them right, all of your body is working."
Lately, George has become more concerned about eating right. "I'm a kid from Virginia, and part of my family is from Louisiana, so we fry everything! It's a habit I've been trying to break, although when I'm a guest at somebody else's house, I'm always happy to eat fried food. But since moving here, I've been eating more protein and I try to have the carbohydrates come from vegetables instead of breads."
So what does this hunk wear when he's working out? "A favorite pair of workout shorts from my alma mater, the University of Virginia, a sleeveless shirt - and a hat."
And when he's not working out? "I'm a jeans and T-shirt kind of guy," he says. "Although my lady laughs and says that part of me is a diva, because occasionally I'll lie around in a satin shirt, even when we're not going anywhere just because it's comfortable."
The lucky lady who won George's heart is his girlfriend of six years, Vandana Khanna. "I find intelligence beautiful," George says. "I've dated models, and they became very ugly to me because they were so vain and couldn't talk about anything but their own lives. And I've dated plain-looking women whose intelligence made them extremely attractive to me. Fortunately, I've found Vandana, a physically exquisite woman who's unaware of her beauty and is concerned with what's going on in the world."
