Derek/Tess/Ben/Meg/Maria:

• Derek kills Tim, when Tim uncovers the truth.
• Meg goes to Seattle, and finds that Ben never checked out of the hotel.
• Meg learns about Derek and Tess's past in Seattle.
• Maria gets her memory back during her vacation with Derek, and ends up fighting for her life.
• Tess arrives to make sure the plan follows through, but when Derek goes to kill Maria, he accidently kills Tess instead.
• Meg ruins Derek's plans, when she finds Ben, and they come to Maria's rescue.
• The three of them learn the truth about Benjy being Derek and Tess's son.
• Maria's severly injured, and dies in Ben's arms.
• Ben and Meg reunite, and decide to raise Benjy as their own.
• On New Year's Eve, they get married at the far side of the pier.

• Olivia starts drinking again, and Caitlin gets sole custody of Trey.
• Annie, Amy, and Mrs. Moreau are all rich, after Tobias names Annie the executress.
• Gregory returns, and shocks Annie.
• Gregory ends up having to face the charges for Francesca's murder, and Olivia's indicted for trying to kill Annie. They get back together in jail, only to escape later, and plan to travel the world with the money Gregory embezzled, during his absence.
• Cole returns to Caitlin before the final episode, and they raise Trey together.
• Bette marries Tobias, just as AJ realizes he has feelings for her.
• Brad and Emily make love, which devastates Sean.
• Sean's shocked when Tiffany comes back to reclaim Spike. They leave Sunset Beach together.
• Annie finally finds love with Jude. They live in the Richards mansion.
• Amy takes off for parts unknown.

• Mrs. Moreau gives Michael and Vanessa a generous sum of money as an apology, for all the pain she's caused them. They move to NY, after Vanessa gets a job at the NY Times. Michael decides to go to NYU, to become a Doctor.

• Casey and Sara realize they love each other, and get engaged. However, they do not get married before the final episode.
• Hank and Joan live happily ever after, as well.
