Ch 38

     ''Where have you two been?'' Mike said as soo as Jason and Brenda
walked 
     into the penthouse.

     ''Jason's car ran out of gas Dad.'' Brenda giggled at Mike's
expression.

     ''You two were out all night and you couldn't even pick up a phone?''

     ''Since when did we have a curfew?'' Jason asked.

     ''You don't. Brenda, why do you have sand in your hair?''

     ''Um well.... We ended up sleeping on the beach last night.''

     ''Oh you did? Is everything okay?''

     ''Talk to Karen lately?''

     ''Julie.''

     ''Ah. Everything's fine.''

     ''Better than fine actually. How do you feel about taking the kids
for 
     two weeks?''

     ''Why?''

     ''We're going on a second honeymoon.''

     ''Already?''

     ''Yeah. It'll be fun and besides we won't be able to do it soon.''

     ''How long until the newest Morgan makes its entrance?''

     ''Six months as of next Thursday.''

     ''Boy I can't wait to go through labor again. How about you Bren?''

     ''Looking so forward to it. NOT!''

     ''When are you two leaving?''

     ''As soon as we make the arrangements and I do a little shopping.''

     ''For what?''

     ''You'll see.'' A knock came at the door. ''I'll get it.'' Brenda
opened 
     the door. ''Lois. Good. We're going shopping. Honey call the hotel
and 
     make the reservations. We'll be back later. Bye.'' Brenda blew him a 
     kiss and split with Lois.

     ''Mike there's one more thing I wanted to talk to you about.''

     ''Go ahead.''

     ''Brenda and I agreed to let Sonny see Stone while we're gone
provided 
     that he returns him every night to you.''

     ''Sounds like you two had a pretty productive night.''

     ''Mike, my friend, you have no idea.''

     ''So then what?''

     ''He asked if I was still in love with him.''

     ''Well?''

     ''Lois! Of course I am. Jason has something that Sonny lost a long
time 
     ago. My heart.''

     ''Well, girlfriend I'm happy for you. Who would have thought that you 
     and Jason would live happily ever after?''

     ''Not me.'' The girlfriends giggled as they shopped for a nightgown
for 
     Brenda's upcoming trip. Brenda turned around to look at something and 
     smacked into someone. ''God I'm so sorry.'' She looked up. It was 
     Robin.

     Ch. 39

     Sonny was at the club when Jason strolled in. 

     ''Hey Man, what's up?''

     ''Well alot actually. How would you like to spend some quality time
with
     Stone?''

     ''Are you serious? I would love to!''

     ''Great! Stone and Bailey will be staying at Mike and Mary's for the
next
     two weeks, so provided that Stone spends the night with them, you can
     see him as much as you want.''

     ''Thanks, Jason. But why are they staying with Mike? I mean where are
you
     and Brenda going to be?''

     ''Bren and i are taking a second honeymoon before the baby comes.''

     Sonny felt a pang of hatred and alot of jealousy towrds his best
friend,
     but he was grateful that he was getting a chance to know his son.

     $^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$

     ''Robin, how are you?'' Things were not good between Brenda and
Robin.

     ''I'm fine. So I hear you're pregnant again? Haven't you two figured
out
     how to use a condom yet? Oh wait, I forgot that your HUSBAND's brain
     damaged.''

     ''Robin, it doesn't have to be this way. It's not like Jason and I
were
     involved when you two were together. In fact we didn't even get
invovled
     until YOU married Jake.''

     ''Look, Brenda, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap at you. It's just
     that..'' Robin started to cry.

     Lois and Brenda looked at each other. ''Robin what happened?''



Ch. 40

     It had been two days since Jason and Brenda left. Brenda still woried
     about leaving Stone with Sonny, but she called everynight and it was
     obviuos that Stone adored Sonny. She was laying in bed next to Jason
     watching him sleep, thinking about her conversation with Robin.

     ~~~ ''Robin what happened.''

     ''Everything's wrong. Nothing makes sense anymore.'' she was crying
     uncontrollably now.

     ''Robin what happened. YOu can tell me.''

     I really am sorry about what I said Brenda. I didn't mean it, I'm
just
     , just...''

     ''Just what sweetie?''

     ''I'm jealous of you and what you have! YOu have two men that adore
you
     and 2 beautiful children and another baby on the way and I can never
     have that! And now Jake...(she took a deep breath and wiped away her
     tears) and now Jake wants a divorce.''

     ''oh honey.''~~~

     ''Bren? Bren?''

     ''What? Oh, you're up!'' She leaned over nad kissed him.

     ''Well good morning to you too!'' Brenda however was still caught up
in
     her own thoughts. She was afraid to tell Jason about Robin's upcoming
     divorce. She knew that he still loved Robin, and was scared that he
     might leave her for his true love.

     ''Bren? Baby what's wrong?''

     ''huh? Oh sorry. I guess I was just kinda wandering.''

     ''What's wrong? You're not still worrying about Stone are you?''

     ''No, no, well not as much, Jason there's something I have to tell
you.''

     Sudddenly dread came over Jason. Was she going to tell him she wanted
to
     go back to Sonny? He had been afraid of that since he came back.
Jason
     knew that sonny would always have Brenda's heart.

     ''Ok...go ahead.''

     ''Jason, I saw Robin the other day.''

     ''WAs she mean to you again?''

     ''She's getting a divorce.''

     Jason stared at his wife. For the first year of his marriage to
Brenda,
     all he wanted was Robin back, divorced from Jake, and now it was
     happening.

    Ch. 41 by Lori

     ''Jason? Say something.''

     ''Did she say anything else?''

     ''She's jealous. She wants what I have.''

     ''She can't have it. My heart isn't hers anymore. It's yours.''
Brenda 
     gave him a wobbily smile as she teared up. ''I love you and nothing
is 
     going to change that.''

     ''I love you too.'' She put her arms around him and buried her face
in 
     his chest. Jason stroked her hair as he held her. So Robin was back
in 
     town, was she? This was just perfect. First Sonny, now Robin. They 
     just couldn't get a break. Well one thing was for sure. He wasn't
going 
     to let go of Brenda and she wasn't letting go of him. Ever.

     ''I just wanted to throttle him when I realized that they were
married.''

     ''I know the feeling. But if you think about it we only have
ourselves 
     to blame.''

     ''Robin I don't wanna think about it.''

     ''Because you know I'm right. You left Brenda, granted it was to keep 
     her safe but you still left her and I married Jake because I couldn't 
     take Jason's life. So now here it is years later and you want Brenda 
     and I want Jason.''

     ''The question is what are we going to do about it?''

Ch. 42

     ''What do you mean 'what are we going to do about it'? I am going to
do
     nothing.''

     ''Nothing!! You can't be serious! Sonny, i know you love Brenda you
     always have so what gives?''

     Jason spent the rest of the morning holding his wife, while his mind
     raced. What would happen the first time he saw Robin? Could he
control
     his urge to kiss her? Would she be different? Stop it. What the hell
are
     you thinking about! You have the woman you love right next to you.
You
     have Brenda.

     Brenda knew that Jason was wondering about Robin. She had felt the
same
     way when Sonny first came back. She still felt that way everytime she
     was in the same room with him. A part of her wanted to grab him and
kiss
     him, another wanted to slap him harder than he had ever been slapped
     before. No, stop it!!! You are married to JASON!!! You're carrying
his
     child for g*d's sake. Don't let Sonny Corinthos ruin your life again.
     He's not worth it.

     ''Robin, I DO love Brenda. I mean I always have. But she's given me
     something I never expected.''

     ''what?''

     ''She gave me a child. A beautiful, smart little boy that I adore.''

     ''Right, and that just means that you should fight harder. Don't you

     to be a family?''

     ''Of course i do, but the only father Stone has ever known is Jason.
     Besides Brenda has a daughter with Jason and they're having another
     baby. I can't interfere with that.''

     ''Why not? I mean why should you give up the right to be happy just
for
     Jason? Don't you deserve to be happy too?''

     ''no, I don't.''

     ''What?''

     ''Robin, I hurt her so much when i left. Hell, I hurt her alot before
     that!! She's finally happy and has the family she's always wanted I
     can't.. i don't have the right to destroy that now. I had my chance
with
     her and I threw it away. She has given me a chance to know my son and
be
     in his life. That is alot more than I desrve from her. I may have
hurt
     her, but atleast i can let her be happy now.''

     ''Sure, Brenda has the family she's always wanted. She just doesn't
have
     the man she always wanted it with.''

     With that Robin got up and kissed his cheek and left. Sonny sat there
     and thought about what she said.

     ''Brenda if that was true at all, I would fight like crazy to get you
     back. I would make it all up to you and Stone. i swear.''

     Ch 43 by Lori

     ''Jason are you okay? I mean really okay?''

     ''It's gonna be weird seeing her. Really weird.''

     ''I know the feeling. Half of you wants to slap them and the other
half 
     wants to grab on and never let go again.''

     ''What are we gonna do Bren?''

     ''Hey Sonny. I guess you're here for Stone.'' Frank Scanlon said
letting 
     Sonny into Mike's house.

     ''Yep. Is he ready?''

     ''Almost. Mom's just cleaning lunch off of him.'' Sonny smiled as he
sat 
     down and Frank went into the kitchen to get Stone. He looked around
the 
     living room. Nice place. He spotted the pictures lining the mantle
and 
     got up to take a closer look. In the middle was Mike and Mary. On 
     Mike's side were pictures of all the grandkids and on Mary's side
were 
     all the children. He saw pictures of Jason, Frank and Joe. Of Brenda, 
     Julie, and Karen. There was a picture of Joe, Frank, and Brenda. He 
     guessed it had been taken at Mike and Mary's wedding. Brenda was in
the 
     middle and she had her arms around the other two men's waistes. There 
     was another picture like that only it was of Karen, Jason, and Julie. 
     Then there was a picture of all three couples. Jason and Brenda in
the 
     middle, Joe and Karen on the right and Frank and Julie on the left.
All 
     the couples had their arms around each other. Then there was a
picture 
     of Jason and Brenda. They were standing outside of Luke's. They both 
     had on leather jackets and jeans. Brenda was standing in front of
Jason 
     and he had his arms around his waist. For a split second he saw
himself 
     in Jason's place. It was supposed to be him. It was supposed to be 
     them. That was it. He had had all he could stand. Best friend or not 
     Jason was not going to live the life he was supposed to live with 
     Brenda. He was going to get her back. Her and Stone.

     ''We're gonna hold on tight and we're never letting go. That's what 
     we're gonna do.''

     ''You make it sound so easy.''

     ''It is. We love each other. That's all we need.''

     ''Not all we need. We also need each other.''

     ''Then I guess it's a good thing we have each other.'' She smiled at
him 
     and he reached up and took her face in his hands. They kissed softly
at 
     first then harder. Pretty soon they were lost in each other and all 
     thoughts of Robin Scorpio and Sonny Corinthos had flown out of their 
     heads.

     ''So Sonny what's up?'' Robin said as she sat down on the park bench
next 
     to him.

     ''I decided you were right. I'm gonna fight for Brenda and you're
gonna 
     help me.'' 

Ch. 44 

     The last two weeks had been amazing for all parties involved. Jason
and 
     Brenda had rekindled their love for each other with some much needed 
     time alone. Brenda, now four months pregnant, was starting to show 
     alittle, and Jason was thrilled. 

     Sonny, had been spending alot of time with Stone. They went to the
park 
     and sonny even took him to a baseball game. Stone was so in love with 
     that game that Sonny even bought a bat, glove and ball and they
played 
     at the park almost everyday. He loved that little boy so much. He had 
     even gotten to know Bailey wwhen he would stay at Mike's for dinner. 
     She was a beutiful little girl. He could almost pretend that she too 
     was his until he saw those crystal blue eyes. That's when his fanatsy 
     was shattered, but at the same time it gave him more determination to 
     take back his life. His life with Brenda and Stone.

     ''Hello? Is anybody here? We're home!!!'' 

     Mary came out of the kitchen followed closely by Mike. 

     ''Brenda!! Jason!!'' She hugged them both as did Mike. 

     ''how was the second honeymoon?'' 

     ''It was great!!'' Brenda said as she snuggled closer to Jason,
smiling. 
     She looked around and didn't see Stone. He always came running to see 
     her when she got home. 

     ''Where's Stone and Bailey?'' 

     ''Bailey's taking a nap and Stone's with Sonny.'' 

     ''Oh.'' 

     ''Well if you don't mind I am going to go check on my little girl.
Her 
     daddy has missed her.'' 

     Once Jason and Mary had left Brenda looked at Mike. 

     ''How much time has Sonny been spending with STone?'' 

     ''Brenda, he is Stone's father.'' 

     ''That's not what I asked, Mike. How much time?'' 

     ''Alot. He has spent everyday with him, and he usually eats dinner
here 
     with us and tucks in Stone and Bailey.'' 

     ''What? What is he doing with my little girl?!'' 

     ''Brenda, calm down. It was Stone's idea at first. Stone didn't want 
     Bailey to feel left out. Brenda he's really good with both of them
and 
     they adore Sonny.'' 

     ''Great! Just what i need, both of my children being corrupted by
Sonny 
     Corinthos.'' 

     Just then the front door opened and Stone and Sonny came in. Sonny
was 
     wearing jeans for the first time, or at least the only time Brenda
could 
     remember. 

     ''Mommy!!!! You're home!!!'' Stone flew into Brenda's arms and she
pickd 
     him up, although it was getting harder and harder the farther along
in 
     her pregnancy she got. 

     ''Hi sweetie! Did you miss me?'' 

     ''YEah!! ALot!! But i had Sonny to play with. He's teaching me
baseball 
     mommy!!'' 

     ''Well that was nice of him wasn't it.'' 

     She set him down and stood up. That's when Sonny noticed her stomach.
He 
     had imagined her pregnant thousands of times before, but she was even 
     more beautiful now, than in his dreams. 

     She looked over at him. He looked so good in jeans and a plain white 
     t-shirt clinging to his chest. STOP it!!!! Brenda!!! What are you
doing 
     to yourself!!! 

     ''Hello, Sonny.'' 

     ''Brenda, you look great!! YOu're starting to show! Jason must be
happy.'' 

     ''Yeah, he is. We both are.'' they were staring into each other's
eyes 
     whenStone tugged on her leg. 

     ''Mommy?'' 

     ''What sweetheart?'' 

     ''How come Sonny looks like me?'' 


  Ch 45 by Lori 

     ''Well sweetie lots of people look alike. People say that I look like 
     Uncle Ned, right? And once someone said you looked like Mommy's
friend 
     Jagger, remember?'' 

     ''Uhuh. Grandma can I have some cookies?'' 

     ''If your mommy says it's alright.'' 

     ''Mommy?'' Stone said hopefully. 

     ''Not to many. We're going to Kelly's for dinner.'' 

     ''Aunt Ruby!'' 

     ''Yup.'' 

     ''Cool. C'mon Grandma.'' Stone pulled Mary and Mike into the kitchen. 

     ''So I guess you and Jason had a good time.'' 

     ''Yeah we had a great time. Second honeymoons and all that, ya
know?'' 

     ''Well the last time I went on a second honeymoon I got trapped in a 
     cabin with another woman.'' 

     ''That's why Jason and I avoid snow. That and he can't ski.'' 

     ''Yeah well neither can I.'' 

     ''Look it was really nice of you to spend all that time with Stone
these 
     last couple of weeks.'' 

     ''He's my son Brenda I like spending time with him. Speaking of which 
     when exactly do you think I'll get to tell him that I'm his father?'' 

     ''When I can be sure that you're not gonna break his heart by
leaving. 
     When I feel I can trust you again.'' 

     ''Just his heart?'' 

     ''Yeah because my heart isn't yours to break anymore. And while I've
got 
     you here I want to get a couple of things straight with you. One
Bailey 
     is Jason's daughter and two the only reason I let you within five
feet 
     of Stone is because of Jason. He feels some kind of perverse sense of 
     loyalty to you and he feels that you suffered enough because you left
to 
     protect me and for that you lost me and that you shouldn't have to
lose 
     Stone to. So I will let you be apart of his life but if I get even
the 
     slightest inkiling that you are using him to get to me or that you're 
     going to hurt him the next time you see him he'll be old enough to 
     drive. Am I making myself clear?'' 

     ''Crystal.'' 

     ''Good. Now if you'll excuse me I missed my daughter and I'm going 
     upstairs to see her.'' Brenda went upstairs without waiting for a 
     response leaving Sonny to stare after her.

     Brenda paused outside the door to Bailey's room and listened. 

     ''Hey little girl. Did you miss your daddy? I sure missed you. Do you 
     know that soon you're gonna be a big sister?'' Bailey gurgled in 
     response. ''That's right. Mommy's gonna have another baby. I can't 
     wait. Now don't tell her but she's even prettier when she's
pregnant.'' 

     ''I am huh?'' Jason looked up. 

     ''There's my brown-eyed girl.'' Brenda smiled and walked over to
them. 

     ''How's our blue-eyed girl?'' 

     ''Wide awake and beautiful.'' 

     ''I bet she's hungry too.'' 

     ''Is that a hint?'' 

     ''A little one.'' 

     ''Where's Stone?'' 

     ''Ruining his appetite in the kitchen.'' 

     ''Well let's get him and get outta here.'' 

     ''I'm with you baby.'' 

     ''Is that a promise?'' 

     ''Yeah it is.'' Brenda smiled at him and kissed him lightly on the
lips.

     Sonny sat on the couch. This was going to be harder than he thought. 
     She really hated him this time and she really loved Jason. He picked
up 
     the phone and dialed. 

     ''Robin? Yeah it's me. Look we need to move now.'' A voice came from 
     behind him. 

     ''What are you up to Michael?'' 

Ch. 47
Brenda walked through the doors as fast as she could, which considering 
her condition wasn't very fast. She
     looked around and spotted Alan and Monica. 

     ''Alan?'' He looked at her. His face was as white as a sheet. 

     ''Is he-? Did he-?'' Brenda couldn't get the words out. She didn't 
want to imagine that Jason could be dead. 

     ''No but Brenda it doesn't look good.'' 

     ''What happened?'' 

     ''He was riding his motorcycle out on some rode and from what we 
can tell a car hit him and he and his bike
     rolled over each other a few times.'' 

     ''Stone is never getting a motorcycle.'' She said to Sonny. 

     ''You got that right.'' 

     ''Alan, did you call Robin?'' 

     ''No but I will now. Be right back.'' Alan went to call Robin and 
Monica took Brenda's arm. 

     ''Brenda why don't you sit down?'' Brenda nodded numbly and let 
herself be led to the couch. Monica went back
     to the nurse's station and Sonny sat down next to Brenda. 

     ''Damn bike. Why the hell does he have to ride that thing all the 
time?'' 

     ''Don't get yourself worked up about it. He's a survivor. He's been 
shot, thrown from a car and a whole lot of
     other things.'' 

     ''Yeah but what if this is the proverbial straw that broke the 
camel's back? What if he's done using up his nine
     lives? What if this is it?'' 
     Sonny didn't know how to answer her. He was starting to get scared. 
No matter what had happened Jason was
     still his best friend and he didn't want to lose him. He'd lost to 
many people in his life. Stone, Lily, Brenda.
     Brenda. He'd lost her time and time again. He looked at her then. 
She looked so scared and lost. Almost like a
     child who'd lost her way home. He wondered what she was thinking 
about. 

     Brenda had blocked out the hospital sounds, smells, and people. She 
was in another world. Another time and
     place. She was thinking about when she had told Jason about Bailey. 

     ~*~ ''So what's up Brenda?'' She thought he looked a little uneasy. 
He was probably still a little uncomfortable
     about the fact that they had slept together. Well this wasn't going 
to easy his comfort. 

     ''Jason, there's no easy way to say this so I'm just gonna say it. 
I'm pregnant.'' 

     ''You're what?'' 

     ''Pregnant.'' 

     ''Are you sure?'' 

     ''Very sure.'' 

     ''It's definately mine? I mean it couldn't be Jax's could it?'' 

     ''No because if it was I would be four months instead of two 
months. Look if you're worried about being
     responsible you don't have to. I won't make you be apart of its 
life. I can raise two children on my own.'' 

     ''Look Brenda I'm sure you're perfectly capable of taking care of 
it and Stone on your own but you've something
     that's part of both of us inside of you and I'm not about to shirk 
my responsibilities.'' 

     ''So what do you suggest we do?'' 

     ''We get married to give the baby a name and when it's born we 
divorce and go our seperate ways, provided I
     still get to be apart of its life and of Stone's.'' 

     ''Agreed.'' ~*~ 

     And that's what should have happened. But it didn't. Life never 
goes the way you plan, does it? Brenda thought to
     herself. 

     ''Brenda?'' She looked up. Alan was standing in front of her. 

     ''Is he okay?'' 



Ch. 48

Brenda was in a panic. "what's wrong with my husband?"

"Brenda right now he has a severe head injury, a few broken ribs, and a
broken wrist. He's in ICU."

"So, Alan what your saying is that he's going to make it?" The twisted
mixture of hope and fear in her eyes tugged at Alan's heart.  He loved
her as a daughter. She had given Jason back to them, sort of. 

"Brenda, I'm praying that's what happens. But as a doctor, I can't say
for sure. It could go either way."

"Can i see him? PLease?"

"Of course."

"thank you Alan."

Alan left and Brenda sat down numbly in the chair.  Sonny watched her.
She was whispering to herself.

"Thank you God, for not taking him away. I need him so much. His
children need him. He's our life. Thank you."

Sonny heard her and cast his eyes towards the ground.

Amy came up and told Brenda she could see him. 

Brenda went into Jason's room and took his hand and started talking to
him and stroking his face.

Sonny saw this through the window and walked out.

"You really do love him, don't you Brenda? I've lost you. Jason has
given you what I never could. i wanted to, but i was too damn scared to
let you that close."

"sonny?"  He looked up and saw Robin.

"Hey sweetie. So yo heard about Jason?"

"Yeah, any word?"

"Well, right now it's touchy, but Jason's strong and he has a lot to
live for."

"you mean Brenda?"

"She loves him. i mean really really loves him. I didn't want to believe
that she could love anyone other than me, but she does."

"Brenda still loves you Sonny. I think her love for Jason is a lot like
her love for Jax was. Jason was there for her during her pregnancy with
Stone and when Jax died. You weren't there, jason was."

"Robin, it's more than that. She really loves him. I can't go through
with it."

"Go through with what?"

"I can't break them up? I can't help destroy her marriage to the one
person in her life that's never let her down. I just can't."

"So you're giving up? Well what about our happiness? Don't we desrve it
with the people we love?"

"Not if we are going to hurt them again. Look Robin, I've hurt her so
many times I don't deserve to get another chance with her. She's letting
me be a part of my son's life, I can't ask for more."

"i can't believe you. So what if you get to spend some time with Stone.
He still thinks that Jason is his father. As long as Brenda is still
with jason, you will always be Stone's friend, but never his father."

robin walked away and left Sonny to think about what she said. He walked
back over to Jason's room and peered through the window. Brenda had
fallen asleep holding his hand with her head on his bed. It was the same
way she had fallen asleep the first night he ahd been shot all those
years ago.

"I can't do it Robin. She loves him. I promise Brenda I won't hurt you
anymore. You desrve the best. And I can see that that is jason."

He stood there for a few more minutes and then left. As he turned on the
light to the apartment above Luke's he started to cry. 

"If I had only really beleived in us, in you, back then. Things would be
so different now. I'm so sorry Brenda. I'm so sorry."

He headed to thier old bedroom, to sleep in their old bed, to dream of
her.

Ch 49

Brenda woke to the feel of someone stroking her hair.  She slowly opened 
her eyes and lifted her head to see Jason smiling at her.

"Hey sleeping beauty."

"You finally decided to wake up, huh?"

"Yeah well I figured I scared you enough."

"You sure did.  How do you feel?"

"A little sore."

"Alan said that was to be expected.  Are you hungry?"

"A little.  You been here all night?"

"Yeah.  Mike has the kids.  Sonny was here too.  He was with me when I 
got the call."

"How come?"

"He wanted to talk about things."

"Such as."

"Him and me and Stone."

"Again?"

"Yeah.  I told him that as far as I was concerned there was no us and if 
he was there to talk about telling Stone he was his father again he was

"When do you think you will be ready?"

"I don't know.  I mean how do you tell a three year old he's got two 
fathers?"

"I wish I knew.  Enough about Sonny though.  You should be resting."

"So should you.  You were just in a major accident."

"I feel fine just a little sore."

"Ya know Jason if you ever scare me like that again.  I'll make getting 
shot look like a walk in the park."

"Is that a threat Mrs. Morgan?"

"It's a promise Mr. Morgan."  She giggled as she lightly kissed his 
lips.  Someone clearing their throat behind them made them jump and pull 
apart.  Brenda turned around to see Robin.   "Robin how are you?"

"I'm fine.  How are you two?"

"We're better now that Jason's decided to rejoin the land of the 
living."

"Well I couldn't let you go through labor alone, could I?"

"Not if you knew what was good for you."  Then Brenda gave a start and 
let out a cry.

"Bren you okay?"

"I think I'm going into labor."
