Paradise

Twenty-eight year old Sonny Corinthos is sitting in his office at his
casino. Feels like he is the happiest man on earth. He has been married
for eight years, to his high school sweetheart Christina. They have a
four-year old son and a one- year old daughter. Their daughter’s name is
Kristen and their son’s name is Michael Corinthos the third. Sonny
hadn’t wanted to name their son after himself and his father because he
detested that name. He hates that name because that was the name of his
absentee father. He had even demanded that everybody call him Sonny.
Sonny looks at his watch and realizes that he was supposed to take
Christina and the kids out to dinner. Sonny picks up his cell phone and
calls his wife. He apologizes for being late.

S: “ Honey, I’m sorry about this. I lost track of time.”

C: “ That’s okay darling.”

S: “ I’ll be there in twenty- minutes.”

Sonny leaves the casino and heads home to pick up his wife and kids.
Christina surprises him when he gets home. It turns out that he has
hired a babysitter. Sonny had planned on taking all of them out but
Christine had other plans.

C: “ Honey, I hope you don’t mind, I thought that we should have some
time alone so I hired a babysitter.”

S: “ Of course not sweetie. Where is the baby sitter?”

The babysitter comes out of the living room. Sonny is speechless when he
sees the beautiful babysitter. The babysitter had long, dark hair that
fell down to mid-back; she also has the prettiest brown, doe eyes. She
is wearing short jean cutoffs and a red top that showed off her flat
stomach. Her long legs turned him on. After a few silent moments Brenda
smiled and held out her hand.

C: “ Sonny, this is Brenda Barrett.”

S: “ Hello. It is nice to meet you.”

B: “ The pleasure’s all mine.”

Sonny stared intensely in her eyes. He hoped that Christina didn’t
notice the kind of looks that he was giving her.

C: “ Sonny, are you ready to go?”

S: “ Of course darling.”

Seventeen- year old Brenda is a senior at Tropical Heights High School.
She was asked by Christina Corinthos to baby-sit her kids. Brenda needed
the money so she of course agreed. She hadn’t known Christina long.
Christina is the photographer at Valentine’s, the lingerie company that
she models for. Brenda couldn’t believe how lucky Christina is; she has
two beautiful kids and a gorgeous husband. As a matter of fact that
husband of hers had been staring at her with interest, like he couldn’t
get enough of her. He had even reluctantly left with his wife. Kristen
starts crying and brings Brenda’s thoughts back to the present time.
Brenda picks up Kristen and finds out what the problem is. The baby’s
diaper needs to be changed.

B: “ Oh, gross. No wonder my sister says that she isn’t having any kids.
You know what Tinkerbell, you’re cute but this is disgusting.”

Brenda changes her diaper and throws it away. Michael comes down and
hops on Brenda’s lap. He hands Brenda a handful of magazines. Brenda
gasps when she sees what they are.

M: “ I found these under mommy and daddy’s bed. This lady has big
boobies don’t you think?”

B: “ Michael, you really shouldn’t be looking at these sort of things.”

M: “ My mommy doesn’t even have boobies as big as hers.”

B: “ You know you really should go put these back.”

M: “ Your boobies are even bigger than my mommy’s.”

B: (Changes the subject) “ Are you hungry Michael because if you’re I
will make you something.”

M: “ Okay. I guess I will go put these back before mommy finds them and
throws daddy in the doghouse.”

B: “ Yeah, maybe you better.”

At the restaurant

Sonny is preoccupied with thoughts of the babysitter. He didn’t know
what was happening to him. Never had anybody had that effect on him. Not
even Christine. Christine starts to speak and interrupts Sonny’s
thoughts.

C: “ Sonny, are you okay?”

S: “ Yeah, fine sweetie. Why do you ask?”

C: “ Because you have been very quiet since you came home.”

S: “ I’m just tired, that’s all.”

C: “ Okay, I’ll tell you what, how about we go to a fancy hotel and
spend the night?”

S: “ Alright, that sounds like a plan.”

Sonny and Christine are now at a fancy hotel. He doesn’t know what is
happening to him and he is determined to make this evening with his wife
work. Christine comes out wearing nothing. She comes over to Sonny and
straddles him. She unbuttons his pants and pulls his boxer’s down. Sonny
kisses her very passionately. He positions himself on top of her and
begins to thrust inside of her. He closes his eyes very tightly and
tries to concentrate on Christina but in his mind it is the baby sitter
that he is making love to. What was he going to do? He had just met this
babysitter and she consumed every thought that he had.

Chapter 2

Brenda looked at the clock, it is midnight and still Christina and Sonny
hadn’t returned. Brenda lay down on the couch but she couldn’t get
comfortable. She goes upstairs to the master bedroom, which happens to
be Christina and Sonny’s bedroom. She pulls the covers down and gets
into bed. She can smell Sonny’s scent on the sheets. She smiles to
herself. Christina Corinthos certainly was a lucky woman; she is married
to a nice looking man. Brenda finally falls asleep, inhaling the scent
of Sonny’s cologne. Brenda is awakened at about three o’clock A.M. When
Kristen starts to cry. Brenda gets out of the bed and goes to get
Kristen; she brings her into the bed with her. Kristen goes back to
sleep lying on Brenda’s chest. Soon, Brenda finds herself falling into
unconsciousness again. Finally at about eight in the morning Sonny and
Christina walk into their bedroom and find Brenda and Kristen sound
asleep. Sonny couldn’t help but smile but Christina wasn’t smiling. She
shakes her awake.

C: (Bitterness in her voice) “ Brenda, what are you doing in my bed and
with my daughter on your chest?”

B: “ Really, Christina, don’t be so offensive, I was uncomfortable on
the couch and the baby started crying.”

C: “ Yeah, well why didn’t you sleep in the guest bedroom?”

B: “ Christina, if this is a problem, I will just get out of your hair
now.”

S: “ No, wait. Christina, you should apologize to Brenda.”

C: “ Why should I apologize to her?”

S: “ Because how was Brenda supposed to know where our guest bedroom
was?”

C: “ Listen, Brenda, I’m sorry if I sound rude this morning, it’s just
that I didn’t get any sleep last night. We were sort of busy doing other
things.”

B: “ That’s alright, apology accepted. I better go before I’m late for
school.”

C: “ Right, remember we have that shoot this afternoon.”

B: “ Right, I wouldn’t miss it.”

Brenda grabs her things and leaves. When she is outside of the door she
smiles to herself. Even Christina knew that she was a threat to her
marriage. Sonny had smiled when he had seen her lying in their bed with
his daughter’s head resting on her breasts. She gets into her car and
heads for school. She looks out the window and admires the beautiful
Puerto Rican beaches. She looks at herself in the rearview mirror to see
just what Sonny had seen. She sees a beautiful girl staring back at her.
She had never been prettier, with her long mane of dark brown hair, doe
shaped brown eyes and long slender legs, developed breasts that are as
soft as honey dew. She definitely likes what Sonny had seen. No wonder
Christina had felt threatened.

Sonny arrived at his casino at about noon. He felt guilty for imagining
it was Brenda that he was making love to, the night before. He had
imagined that it was Brenda that he kissed so passionately, thrusted
into her like he couldn’t get enough of her, but it had turned out to be
Christina. And then earlier that morning, Christina had been jealous
because she found Brenda in their bed cradling their baby to her well
developed, beautiful shaped breasts, Jason Quartermaine enters and
interrupts his thoughts.

J: “ I’m sorry to interrupt you Sonny but your wife is on the line.”

S: “ Thank you Jase.”

He picks up the phone.

S: “ Hey, baby what is it?”

C: “ Sonny, I have been called away on a business trip and I have to
leave in an hour.”

S: “ When did you find out about this?”

C: “ I just found out about twenty minutes ago. I hope that this is okay
with you?”

S: “ Of course sweetie, you have to go.”

C: “ There’s one more thing, I need you to take Brenda out to dinner for
me, we were supposed to have dinner after the shoot but now that I have
plans I can’t meet her.”

S: “ Of course sweetheart, I will meet Brenda for you.”

C: “ Tell her that I’m sorry.”

After Sonny got off the line with Christina he smiled to himself. He was
going to be having dinner with the sexiest woman in Puerto Rico.

Later that day, Brenda is at Valentine’s doing her shoot. She is wearing
red bikini panties and a bra. Sonny arrives to talk to Brenda. He is
breathless as he sees Brenda’s nipples peek out invitingly in the bra.
He finds himself getting aroused and it takes everything that is in him
to control himself. Brenda finally notices him and waves. When she is
finished she puts her robe on and walks over to him.

B: “ What are you doing here?”

S: “ I’m here to take you out to dinner.”

B: “ What happened to Christina?”

S: “ Christina was called away on business so it looks like it will be
just you and I.”

B: (Smiles) “ I can’t wait.”

Chapter 3

Brenda went into her dressing room and changed into a short red
sundress. She looked at herself in the mirror to make sure that she
looked presentable enough. She smiled at the reflection that she saw
staring back at her. She definitely was dressed to kill. Brenda headed
out to meet Sonny. Sonny smiled when he saw her heading towards him.

S: “ Hey, you ready to go?”

B: “ I sure am. How do I look?”

S: “ Like an angel. You sure are pretty honey.”

B: “ You don’t look so bad yourself. So, where are you taking me?”

S: “ I’m taking you back to my place. I happen to be a very good cook.”

B: “ Oh, how romantic. Christina is a very lucky woman.”

S: “ Indeed she is and I’m a very lucky man.”

B: “ Indeed you are. A beautiful wife and two beautiful children, what
else could you possibly need to better your life?”

S: (Not honestly) “ I honestly can say that I don’t think that my life
can get any better.”

B: “ Christina feels the same way. You know I think that she was very
angry when she found me in your bedroom this morning.”

S: “ Don’t worry about Christina, I can take care of that.  She just had
a sleepless night, that’s all.”

B: “ Oh, why we’re on the subject of sex, you wouldn’t believe what your
son did.”

S: “ Oh, nothing Michael does phases me.”

B: “ Anyway, I was on the couch changing Kristen’s diaper when Michael
came downstairs and showed me some magazines. You get what I’m saying?”

S: “ Oh my God, you mean the ones that were under my bed?”

B: (Smiles) “ Those would be the ones.”

S: “ What did he say about them?”

B: “ Well, he said that this one particular lady had big boobies and
then he went on to say that she had bigger boobies than his mother and
then he said that I had bigger boobies than his mother.”

S: (Blushing) “ Well, a child that takes after his father. What did you
do with the magazines?”

B: “ Well, they are back under your bed. Michael said that he was going
to put them back before mommy through you in the dog house.”

S: (Laughs) “ He also has a sense of humor.”

B: “ I just love your kids, Michael and Kristen are adorable.”

S: “ Yeah, I love them with every thing in me.”

They arrive at the house. Michael jumps into his father’s arms. The
housekeeper comes out and tells Sonny that she is going to go home now
that he is there. After Sonny puts Michael down he jumps into Brenda’s
arms.

M: “ Good, you’re back. Daddy, I like Brenda a lot, can we keep her?”

S: “ Michael, your mother wouldn’t like that very much.”

B: “ Yeah, sweetie, besides I have my own parents that insist I am home
by midnight.”

S: (Laughs) “ You hear that Michael, you will have a curfew when you’re
dating age.”

M: “ Can I date Brenda when I’m dating age?”

B: “ Michael, by the time that you’re dating age, I will be too old for
you.”

M: “ Well, if you have any kids can I date your daughter?”

B: “ By the time that I have kids you will be too old for them.”

M: “ I want to marry somebody that looks just like you.”

B: “ You certainly are adorable Michael Corinthos.”

M: “ I know, I get it from daddy.”

Sonny goes into the kitchen to get dinner ready. Brenda is sitting on
the couch reading a story to Michael and Kristen. Kristen is playing
with Brenda’s long hair. Sonny peeks in and smiles at the sight. His
children certainly had taken to Brenda just like he had. He knows that
Christina doesn’t feel the same way. Her relationship with Brenda was
strictly business and she didn’t care to have a personal relationship.
Sonny goes back to getting dinner ready. An hour later everybody is
sitting at the table, digging into Sonny’s fabulous creation. Brenda’s
mouth waters when she bites into Sonny’s delicious pasta with clam sauce
and brandy.

B: “ This is delicious, now I can really say that Christina is very
lucky. Where did you learn how to cook like this?”

S: “ I guess it just came natural.”

B: “ Everything came natural for you didn’t it? Your good looks, your
cooking ability, your intelligence?”

S: “ Well some of those things came from experience. Besides, you’re one
beautiful woman yourself.”

M: “ You sure are Brenda. You’re even prettier than my mommy.”

S: “ Michael, you shouldn’t be mean to your mommy.”

M: “ daddy, she is always at work. I never get to see her.”

S: “ Brenda is gorgeous and she may be a heck of a lot prettier than
your mommy but that isn’t fair to your mommy when you say something like
that to her.”

M: “ I know daddy, I’m sorry. Can I go upstairs and play now?”

S: “ Of course, but we are going to be leaving soon to take Brenda
home.”

Sonny and the kids take Brenda home and Michael gives her a big hug.
Sonny walks her up to the door.

B: “ I had a wonderful time.”

S: “ Me too, we’ll have to do it again sometime.”

B: “ Yeah, when Christina is out of town. I mean I wouldn’t want her to
have to eat dinner with me. I mean she doesn’t really like me.”

S: Don’t worry about Christina, she isn’t important. What’s important is
that you know how worthy you are. You are beautiful and smart and don’t
let people like my wife tell you otherwise.”

B: “ You’re so sweet Sonny. Good night.”

Brenda went inside her house and Sonny headed home. They both went to
sleep that night with satisfied smiles on their faces.

 Chapter 4

Brenda woke up the next morning feeling like she is floating on air. She
had had a blast at dinner the night before and she knew that she
shouldn’t have. It was wrong to be feeling those things because of
Sonny’s marital status. She really didn’t need for things to be
complicated between her and Christina. She would just have to fight her
growing feelings for her because she really doesn’t want to hurt
Christina or the children. Her ringing alarm clock brought Brenda back
into reality. She had been sitting there deep in thought for the past
fifteen minutes and her alarm had been going off for that long. She
hoped that it hadn’t woke her parents up. She got out of bed and went to
the bathroom to take a shower. She tried to get her mind on something
that didn’t involve Sonny but no matter what she did she would always
find herself thinking about Sonny again. It was hopeless she is in love
with a married man and there is nothing that she can do about it except
stay away from him.

The Corinthos Household

Sonny is taking the day off to stay with Kristen. Michael had to go to
preschool but with Kristen only being one, she wasn’t in school yet.
Sonny had slept wonderful the night before, thinking about Brenda. He’d
had several erotic dreams involving Brenda, never Christina. Sonny had
gotten up early to get Michael off to school. Christina wasn’t due back
until that evening. No matter what he did he always found himself
thinking about Brenda. What was happening to him? He had only felt that
way once before and that was when he realized that he was in love with
Christina for the first time. It finally hit him, he is in love with
Brenda. What was he going to do now? He couldn’t do this to Christina
and their kids. There is only one possible solution and that is for him
to stay away from her. He couldn’t ruin Christina and the kid’s lives
and he couldn’t ruin Brenda’s. Brenda is after all a model for the
company that Christina works for and knowing Christina she would try to
have Brenda fired just so that she could get revenge. He had to control
his feelings. He wouldn’t have to see Brenda ever again and she would
never know how he had felt for her. The only person that would know
would be him. Sonny heard Kristen cry and he immediately climbed the
stairs to go and get her. Kristen was a beauty. People would often say
that she looks like her daddy and they were right. Kristen has Sonny’s
beautiful complexion and dark hair, she also has the gorgeous, chocolate
brown eyes.

S: “ You’re so pretty honey. You know that daddy loves you and he
doesn’t ever want to hurt you. The truth is that I’m in love with your
baby sitter. I don’t know what I’m going to do Kristen, I don’t even
know how I feel about your mommy anymore.”

Kristen looked up at him with her beautiful eyes and smiled, trying to
reassure him that everything would be alright. Sonny smiled back at his
daughter and kissed her on the forehead.

S: “ You’re daddy’s precious angel.”

Tropical Heights High School

Brenda was having a horrible day at school. Her ex boyfriend, Jagger
Cates was now dating Karen Wexler and rubbing it in her face. No matter
where she went she would always find Karen and Jagger kissing in the
corner. She wasn’t jealous of Karen and Jagger’s relationship, no she is
angry because she is in love with a married man and can’t act on her
feelings. Brenda meets up with her best friend, Robin Scorpio and they
go to the cafeteria and have lunch together.

R: “ What’s wrong Bren? You look so down today.”

B: “ I’m in love.”

R: “ And that’s a bad thing? I don’t see how that can be.”

B: “ It’s a bad thing because he is married.”

R: “ Brenda, this is awful. You said that you would never fall in love
with a married man.”

B: “ I know what I said Robin, and believe me it certainly wasn’t
planned.”

R: “ What are you going to do about it?”

B: “ I can’t see him anymore.”

R: “ Well, I guess you really don’t have much of a choice with that, I
mean, unless you want to break up a family?”

B: “ Of course I don’t want to break up a family. I’m not a home
wrecker.”

Later that afternoon

Brenda headed over to the Corinthos household to tell Sonny about her
true feelings and that she can’t have anything to do with him anymore.
She hesitated when she got to the door but worked up the nerve and rang
the doorbell. Sonny answered it and was surprised to see Brenda.

S: “ Hey, come in.”

B: “ Thank you. I won’t be here for very long. I just have to tell you
something and then I will be on my way.”

S: “ Okay.”

B: “ Sonny, I don’t know how to say this so I’m just going to come right
out and say it. I’m in love with you.”

S: “ Brenda, I don’t know what to say.”

B: “ Don’t say anything. I don’t expect you to leave your family and
that is why I can’t see you again.”

S: “ I understand completely. I was going to tell you the same thing.
I’m in love with you too Brenda but I can’t break up my family and hurt
my kids. I don’t want to hurt you either and believe me Christina would
find countless ways to hurt you.”

B: “ I know Sonny. I remember when she bit my head off the other day for
sleeping in your bed and you weren’t even in it with me.”

S: “ I do love you Brenda but I can’t do that to my family.”

B: “ I understand Sonny. I just had to let you know that.”

Christina has come back and she heard her husband say that he was in
love with another woman. He couldn’t love Brenda, not that tramp of a
model that everybody loved. What about the night before last when they
had made love so passionately, had he been thinking about her the entire
time? Christina hid on the side when Brenda was ready to go. She
couldn’t let her steal her family away from her. No, she had to stop her
somehow.


 Chapter 5

Brenda got into her Porsche and sped off. She squealed her tires,
getting out of there as fast as she possibly could. She had tears
flowing down her cheeks and they gave no sign of letting up. She had
never felt so heartbroken before, over another guy. She had been right
in terminating her association with him because if she didn’t she would
have to deal with a very pissed off Christina Corinthos and she didn’t
want that. She hated that she had to walk away from something that she
had wanted so much but she was only being fair to herself and to Sonny.
Sonny deserved all of the happiness that he could get and as much as she
hated it, it had been Christina that had borne his children, not her.
Kristen and Michael deserved to parents living together as husband and
wife and she couldn’t split that up. Brenda is almost home when her
cellular phone rings.

B: “ Hello?”

C: “ Brenda, it’s Christina, can you meet me for dinner?”

B: “ Christina, I don’t know if that will be such a good idea.”

C: “ Please Brenda, it’s important.”

B: “ Alright. Where do you want me to meet you at?”

C: “ Brenda, can you come over here to my place?”

B: “ I don’t know Christina, I mean I wouldn’t want to intrude with you
and your family.”

C: “ Non sense Brenda. Sonny and the kids love you. They will be
thrilled to have you eat dinner with us.”

B: (Reluctantly) “ Well, okay. I will be there in about twenty minutes.”

C: “ I will be anticipating your arrival.”

 Christina hangs up and smiles. Brenda had reluctantly slipped like
putty into her hands. She would show her husband just how sweet she
could be to Brenda. She would make Brenda ill by hanging all over Sonny.
Twenty minutes after Christina called her, Brenda arrives at the
Corinthos residence. She reluctantly rings the doorbell, after taking
five minutes to talk herself into ringing the doorbell. Sonny answers
the door and is shocked to see Brenda standing there.

S: “ Brenda? What a pleasant surprise, what are you doing here?”

Christina comes out from the kitchen.

C: “ I invited Brenda over for dinner.”

B: “ Yes and ever so graciously.”

C: “ Oh, well I’m just like everybody else Brenda. I can’t get enough of
you.”

B: “ That’s nice to know because we have to do that shoot over the
weekend.”

C: “ Yeah, and I can’t wait.”

Christina goes into the kitchen and prepares dinner.

Sonny and Brenda go into the living room and sit down on the couch.
Brenda is very nervous and she can see that Sonny is nervous as well.

B: “ I’m sorry about this Sonny, it wasn’t my idea.”

S: “ I know.”

They continue to sit on the couch, both of them afraid that if they
speak they will be in each other’s arms kissing ferociously, and they
couldn’t risk that especially since Christina was in the next room
cooking dinner. When dinner is ready everybody sits down at te dinner
table and begins to eat. Christina has cooked lasagna and Brenda
thoroughly enjoys it. After dinner Brenda starts to feel like she is
going to pass out. She begins to feel nauseous and gets up to go to the
bathroom. All of the sudden Brenda passes out. Sonny jumps up from the
table to catch her before she hits the ground.

S: “ Christina, go call an ambulance.”

Christina calls an ambulance. Within minutes the ambulance comes and
takes Brenda to the hospital. She is still unconscious and her blood
pressure is dropping. The doctors run tests to find out what could be
wrong with Brenda. Sonny is horrified when he finds out from the doctor
that there was arsenic poisoning in Brenda’s system. The arsenic poison
had only recently just got into her bloodstream. Sonny didn’t know how
that had happened but Christina Corinthos certainly did. No woman messed
with her and got away with it.
