Hi. Thanks for visiting the Worst Simpsons Site Ever. I'm Ben Collins.
Now a word from the Comic Book Guy, proprietor of The Android's Dungeon Comic Book and Baseball Card Shop in Springfield, USA...
This "website" is, without a doubt, the Worst Ever.
Rest assured that I e-mailed its maintainer,
Ben Collins,
within minutes to register my disgust.
You can hear similar complaints and criticisms, many of them from me, at the Usenet newsgroup alt.tv.simpsons, my usual hangout on the Net.
About this site: the new feature I'm proudest of is the Reviews section. This isn't only for my own reviews of every episode; you can submit your reviews for inclusion on this site. It's vaguely similar to a feature of the episode capsules on the great Simpsons Archive, but only consists of reviews, and the reviews tend to be newer and can be updated. The SNPP capsules have few reviews from before Season 5, and almost all of them were submitted right after the episodes originally aired. The Reviews section is your forum for expressing your opinion about any episode. To add your own review(s), read the guidelines on the main Reviews page and e-mail your review(s) to me.
Think you're the biggest Simpsons fan on earth? Just because you can tell Rod and Todd Flanders apart or know the production code for every episode doesn't mean you can tackle The Impossible Simpsons Quiz. Be the first to answer 5 outrageously difficult Simpsons-related questions and be showered with praise.
I've conducted several Simpsons-related polls on the Web and alt.tv.simpsons, including Best/Worst Episode Ever and Best/Worst Season Ever. The results are available here.
There are other Simpsons sites out there besides this one. Click on over to the Links page for some of my favorites.
A note about WAVs, video clips and other "kewl" multimedia features: you won't find them on this site. Not only has Fox specifically forbidden them and ordered many of the best WAV sites to shut down, I figure you can find plenty of WAVs, video clips, etc. on other sites, one of which is on the Links page. There's a big glut of multimedia-oriented sites, and I'd rather not copy everyone else.
This page is dedicated to the many writers, producers, voice-over artists, and animators who slave away every day to bring us the greatest show on TV. We fans don't thank you enough.
