PHILADELPHIA, PA – Two men, Leroy Cook, 27, and Stanley Booker 27, were in search of a good time on Thursday night around 11:30 p.m. The two men ventured into the Gloomchaser bar looking for some female companions and a couple of drinks. After receiving both of their wants (a round of drinks and two female friends) a suggestion was made that the party between the four move to another area.

“The two women said we should go over to the Date Palm Motel to continue our party.” Said Cook.

Thinking with the wrong part of their bodies, both men followed the prostitutes across the street and into the motel room that had already been reserved. The two men walked into the dark room only to find two more men sitting on the bed.

“I had no idea what the two guys were doing, I thought they were the pimps or maybe that they were there for some kind of documentary” said Booker.

The two men sitting on the bed expressed their gratitude and then pulled out a shotgun and a .38 caliber revolver. Both Cook and Booker’s wallets were taken by the gunmen and both were restrained by a rope that tied them down to a chair. The knot-tiers being the prostitutes themselves.

After all four of the entrepreneurs left the motel room, Cook and Booker managed to loosen the ropes and free themselves from the fetters. The two victims then appeared at the police station to report the crime and their loss of $590 in total. ($350 by Cook and $240 by Booker. Looks like Cook was looking for a little more action than Booker)

Several patrolmen went to the Date Palm Motel to see if a license number was given when the room was rented out to the team of thieves. Luckily a number was given and even more stupidly than luckily, a vehicle with the same plates and description was parked right out in front of the motel office.

After a double take and several chuckles, the patrolmen walked to the room where the crime had taken place. Entering the room, the officers found the four on the bed watching the late late show. Next to the men were to guns, a shotgun and a .38 caliber revolver. Next to the two females were both Cook’s and Booker’s wallets, intact with all money and papers.

“I can’t believe how stupid some people can be. I thought the first lesson learned in con school was “Never return to the scene of the crime.” It just goes to show that society is slowly losing its intelligence.” Said Officer Barbrady

The next step was to book all four of the pimp/prostitute team – Willie Bob Watson, his wife Ora Bee, Derkus Williams, and his girlfriend Johnny Mae Clell.

Cook and Booker both picked up their wallets and headed off into the sunrise. Probably to a lively fleshpot with no intent of finding any other prostitutes, or so they said.

The moral of this story can be “Don’t trust a hooker” or “One more reason why prostitutes are bad”. But actually, our two friends, Cook and Booker, were lucky. They had their wallets stolen, but they got them back. If they would have found actual prostitutes they would have most likely been thieves themselves and stolen something from the prostitutes. Something like a bad case of herpes.
