It was, altogether, a good show and it was much better than that of which we saw in the class meetings. I don’t know if it was because there was actually an orchestra besides a run-down school-bought tape recorde, or if it was because the actors seemed to be more into it.Tina Roviello was a really great part of the play and I think she actually made the show to be even better than it was expected. She seemed to have stolen the show and as she covered for the other actors when they forgot their lines. No names will be mentioned to protect the futures of our bright young stars...Nate Schuster Heather Nonnenman was a nice addition to the show; she played a character that only she could portray perfectly. The wise cracks and the sarcastic remarks are all things that she does on a day to day basis so it was almost like she was acting out herself. Tony Cantore, surprisingly, has a good singing voice and was able to make his character a hit as the title character, but not main character, Conrad Birdy. Tony’s dad was also into the play as much as the actors were. I saw him wearing a tee shirt that had Tony’s picture and said, “We love you Conrad”. All of the people in the play were exceptionally good except for one. Jaclyn Miller was amazing. Not only did she have about every advertisement in the program dedicated to her, but she also walked well in pajamas. Walking in pajamas is not easy, especially on a stage. FINAL NOTE:Watching the actors during the play made me wonder only one thing...Can the actors smell the others sweaty stinky breath when singing to each other? |
THAT’S IT - SO GO HOME
