I have been to Trinidad 4 times. This last time, my family and I decited to jump in Carnival (2000) as usual we had a great time, but to jump in a band you must be in good condition. I love the food and all the different drinks there just this morning I was missing peanut punch. Just "surfing" and came across your site. Really enjoyed it. The pictures are nice and of high quality. However, like most people's comments, I think there could have been more photos included (i.e. Manzilla Beach, the Savannah, Steel Pan bands, C rnival costumes, etc.) to give the potential viewer a better "taste" of the true beauty of Trinidad. Also, the Scarlet Ibises at the Caroni Swamp or, in Tobago, Argyle Waterfall or the beach at Speyside. I spent three years in Trinidad, from '92 to '95, and participated (and survived!) THREE carnivals! I have TONS of pictures that I have put together in a photo album (not YET finished), complete with narratives, and have always wanted to create my own pe sonal web page to include this photo album in its entirety, narratives and all! Perhaps after perusing your site all be inspired to get the ball rolling. Thanks for the wonder trip down memory lane. For those of you viewing this site in preparation for your travels to Trinidad and/or Tobago (you MUST see Tobago if you EVER go to Trinidad!), you will love it!
