Nesebur is a picturesque town, situated on a small peninsula, which is connected with the shore by a 6300m long and not more than 10m wide neck.There were about 40 churches situated there during the medieval period.Nowadays those of them, who are left standing, are the most beautiful decoration of the town.They show the phenomenal achievements of the medieval bulgarian-byzantine architecture.This is a picture of this beautiful resort:

Balchik is a seaside resort, located on the
steep slope of the sea-shore.If you look at the town from the sea, it risesin tiers.One of
the sights of the town is the Palace 'Tihoto gnezdo', which was built in 1924.The building
is in oriental style and there is a big park there.Botanical gardens are made in the park,
in which there are more than 3 000 sorts of plants, many of which are rarity for the
european botanical gardens.The public museum is also an interesting place to be seen.
Golden Sands is a world known seaside resort, whose latitude is the
same as the latitude of the famous mediterranean resorts in Europe. The resort has over 10
000 beds, allocated in 73 modern hotels, about 9 000 bungaloes and huts, 58 restaurants
and bars available.

Varna is the third biggest bulgarian town, a big sea-port and a well-known international seaside resort. Varna is one of the oldest towns on the Black Sea coast. It was founded in the beginning of the VIth century B.C. under the name Odesos. The town is called Varna in the early Middle Ages /VIIc./. Today it is an important administrative, industrial and cultural center of the country. It also plays a significant role in the transportation system. The seat of the bulgarian mercantile marine is there. One of the three international airports of the country is also there. But the name of the town is mostly connected with tourism. The seaside and the balneological health resort are combined in Varna. All year long the resort is visited by bulgarian and foreign tourists.
