Notes: 14 sites are "prime" sites and 4 are "overflow" sites. Boats w or w/o motors
and paddle boats available for rental. Check-in time is 1400 and check-out 1100.
Check-in is at Bldg 2019, just past the camping area, but pull into the campground
and drop trailer or occupy site first, then go register due to limited turn around
space at registration office.
Each site has metal picnic table and concrete slab for table and has a fire ring and
BBQ grill. Pay washers & dryers are available at camp.
Moody AFB is about 25 miles North-East, past Valdosta.
New sites are being added as of March, 1999.
Input from members: Exit numbers where change and
the correct exit is now Exit 5. They have cabins available and for
these they take reservations. However they do not take reservations for
the RV site, these are first come first grab. As of Summer 2000 they
will be adding an additional 24. There is a dump station available
also.

From Spring 1998 Traveler:Wooded lakeside setting. Dump station on base.
A must see is the Air Force Museum, one of the best in the country.
From Members: ROBINS AFB, Warner-Robins, GA
-Temporary situation with Dump Station. There is one, but its most of the way
across the base in an awkward place to access. There's a good nose down tilt
to the gravel/dirt road at dump. Suggest dumping at Georgia's Rest Stops on
I-75 if convenient to your travel. -Also there are several long term live-in
folks in the campground. Several nights we were there overnighters were in
overflow.
Charlie Anderson
Rheta and I just returned from the Campground at Robins AFB below Macon, GA.
It has been rebuilt with concrete pads and W/S/E/. 50 amp service available.
The same 18 spaces, $12 per day, $77 per week. New bath house with just one
new washer and one new dryer. If you have a lot of laundry to do there is a
nice laundromat not too far from the base.
Unfortunately, they still have to put there sewer water into a tank and have
it pumped. When we were there they wanted us to run our gray watr on the
ground, then save some for the black water dumping, and then dump the black
water and wash out with the gray into the sewer at the site. It is a nice
place. No reservations.
They are also starting to build a new exchange in space next to the Class 6
Store.

inviting inlet flow deep and cool. Uchee Creek Army Campground and Marina is located in a
secure and attractive environment and offers 85 sites specifically designed for the RV on the
road today. All back-in sites are a minimum of 65 feet deep; pull throughs are longer. All
sites have 50 amp and 30 amp plug-ins plus two 110v outlets. For water and electric sites, we
provide a dump station. Uchee Creek is a place where you can spend a weekend or an entire
vacation enjoying the natural beauty of the scenic Chattahoochee River.
