Once upon a time there was an 11 year boy who arrived in the school of the town where his family had moved. In his first days there he made himself friend of 2 boys who, like him, liked pre-historic animals a lot. That in a time when nobody had listened about Jurassic park (Spielberg was probably still in school at those times). So, each of those 3 friends decided to adopt a dinosaur. One got the Tyranosaur, another the Brontonsaur and the other a Stegosaur. In their school, as in the rest of the town, people had an old habit of giving nicknames to people, so quickly the adopters got the adopteds' names. And that's how Stego born. |
And where are Bronto and Tyrano now, you may ask. Well, the fact is that Bronto had already a nickname from the year before, "Pincel" (paintbrush), so the newer never came too popular. As for Tyrano, no nickname of his ever last very long. It's supposed that's because his family name (S.João, S.John in english) looks like a nickname already. And that's the end of our story... The 3 dinosaurs are still very good friends, although they meet very little now, mainly because they live in distant places for some years. As the years pass, they're getting more and more alike there beasts in terms of weigth and age. :-) |
