I'm originally from the small island of St. Maarten, Netherlands Antillies. St. Maarten is just 37 sq. miles, but it's controlled by two European nations, namely France and The Netherlands. Hence the reason you will see the french spelling St. Martin. I was born and grew up on the Dutch side of the island. I did my early schooling in Dutch and also learned some Spanish along the way. I haven't communicated in Dutch for many years so I would be hard pressed to be able to defend myself using this language. I moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1980 to continue with school and ended up remaining in Canada and becoming a citizen in 1986.

I currently work in banking. Not as a teller, but in the Information Technology end of things. In my department we monitor the entire banking operations world-wide, both voice and data.
 

On IRC - Internet Relay Chat - the GAYCHUB channel my nickname is CHSRnTOR, which means Chaser in Toronto. What does this chaser part mean? Well I'm glad you asked. For all my life, at least the part that truly counts I've always found BIG men very attractive. I don't know why that is, I just know. Whenever a CHUBBY, FAT, PORTLY or - whatever term you use to describe this CHERUBIC group of men - walks by I have to take a good long look. Those massive arms, thighs, legs, and mmm that wonderfully sculpted, gorgeous stomach. Excuse please, while I clean my keyboard. Well as I was saying I just love being in their company and watching them move.How I got connected to the various CHUB groups started back in 1989. I was thumbing through an old issue of the Advocate (looking for chubs of course) when I came across a tiny ad asking questions like "Do you like Chubby men? Are you a chaser?" I didn't know what a chaser was at the time but I knew I liked CHUBBY men. I immediately - well, as fast as my fingers would allow - wrote the advertiser, which in this case was the Girth & Mirth of NYclub. I've been a member ever since. Through this club I learned about an annual event called convergence. It's held every Labor Day and hosted by the G&M club in the respective city. Past events which I've attended are: Chicago (1990), Boston (1991), San Francisco(1992), Washington D.C, (1993), New York (1994), Seattle (1995), San Diego (1996), Philly (1997), Reno (1998), and Denver (1999). Montreal will be hosting the 2000 Labor Day event.

Do I attend all these events and such alone? I can sense you were wondering about that, well no, I in fact enjoy going there with my friend Bob.

Here are some of the place(s) I've visited or hope to visit again.

Branson, MO	I spent some time there and got to as many shows as I could. This is a great city for live country music. While there I was able to see Boxcar Willie, Eddie Rabbitt, and Shoji Tabuchi perform.
Wheeling, WV	I spent very little time there, but was lucky enough to be able to see Confederate Railroad perform.
Nashville, TN	I have yet to visit this mecca of country music, but I will get to the Grand Ole Opry and the Rynman soon.

Here too I have very eclectic tastes. I like horror films (Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday 13th, Hellraiser, etc.). I also go for action & adventure (Rambo, Eraser, True Lies, etc.). Lest I forget Sci-Fi (Star Trek, Star Wars, Alien, X-Files, etc.). For a good laugh I watch the likes of (The Three Stooges, Chaplin, Hogan's Heros, Giligan's Island, etc. as well as the more modern sitcoms like Mr. Bean, Keeping Up Appearances, Friends, Married with Children).
