This is Sorcha. She loves blowing bubbles! Sinead found her at the Mouse Orphanage and when she realized Sorcha had the same birth certificate number as she did, she adopted her. Sorcha is Gaelic for Sarah or Clara. She doesn't really want to use one of the English names yet, she says Sinead still uses her Gaelic name. So for now, she'll remain Sorcha!
Sorcha wears leg braces. Sinead's parents are taking her to Dr. Sage, the mouse doctor to find out exactly what is wrong with her. Since she has only just arrived, they haven't been able to get in right away. But they suspect it may be Cerebral Palsy. To learn more about someone who is doing something extra special to help United Cerebral Palsy, go to
Walking USA.
Sorcha just signed up for Art Lessons. She's really excited, especially since she just got all her supplies. Look at all this stuff!
She set up the easel & paints in her room so she can paint whenever she feels inspired. This is her Craft Corner, where she can really work hard and not worry about being messy.

This is the first thing Sorcha joined, so she can have friends who understand about her disability. We hope it will help her feel more at home, and more comfortable with her disability.

Here is a special birthday cake given to her on September 17 by Jessica, Claire and Victoria. They were passengers on the maiden cruise of the S.S. Cepheus, and came to her birthday party on the ship.
Visit Sorcha's new friend, Kristin. She's in the MDSSC too! And she attends Cheese Park School with Sorcha. Cutie's Cute Mice--they're also friends.
