The Crystal Cube

The sombulistic stare,
At something which is never there
Images flash across the screen
Never there if never seen.

Thousands of these little sets
From scottish kirks to SP bets,
Eyes that stare and glare and strain
Notice not the power drain.

The grid explodes, the power's gone.
Minds switch on, people squawk
Try something novel,
They start to talk.
