Raute Travels to Poland
Raute recently returned from an eight-day trip to Poland. This was not a fun trip, but a learning trip. Along with
60 other classmates, Raute visited centuries-old Jewish cemeteries, abandoned synagogues, and the concentration
camps of Auschwitz, Maidanek and Treblinka. It was a moving experience for Raute. She enjoyed the company of her
friends, the flights and the different hotels, but this fun part was balanced by the emotional visit to the camps.
