"Il Merlo" is a small village in the heart of Tuscany. It is situated about 3 Km far from the small town of Casole d'Elsa. In few
minutes you can reach all the beautiful touristic attractions of Tuscany: Siena (30 Km), Florence (60 Km), S. Gimignano (20 Km) and
Volterra (25 Km). .

Route to “Il Merlo”
 

.....coming from the north (Milano, Bologna, Firenze, etc...):
 

• Motor-way “A1” (Milano-Roma) to Firenze
• Exit at FIRENZE CERTOSA
• Just out of the exit (about 100 mt. on the right) take the route FIRENZE-SIENA (Autopalio).
• Exit at COLLE VAL D’ELSA NORD
• Pass through the town and take the route to CASOLE D’ELSA
• After about 10 km. (before getting to Casole d’Elsa), when you'll find a roundabout turn to the right following direction IL MERLO
• Drive straight on and after 2 Km. turn on the left and you will find the village “Il Merlo”
• The apartments are there (first house on the right).

• Motor-way “A1” (Milano-Roma) to Firenze
• Exit at VALDICHIANA
• Just out of the exit take the route to SIENA (about 300 mt. on the right).
• When you arrive in Siena (Siena EST), take the TANGENZIALE and then the SIENA-FIRENZE (Autopalio)
• Exit at COLLE VAL D'ELSA SUD
• At the roundabout following direction COLLE VAL D'ELSA pass through the town and take the route to CASOLE D’ELSA
• After about 10 km. (before getting to Casole d’Elsa), when you'll find a roundabout turn to the right following direction IL MERLO
• Drive straight on and after 2 Km. turn on the left and you will find the village “Il Merlo”
• The apartments are there (first house on the right).
