This movie was a HUGE success in all movie theaters where it was played. This movie was remade into Tamil from the original Malayalam version, "Aniyathu Pravu", in which Shalini also acted in. I personally think it's one of the best films ever made, with the great acting of Shalini, and excellent direction by Fazil. This was about a Hindu boy whose parents want him to get married, but he is only interested in studying. One day he sees Shalini, who is a Christian girl, and he falls in love with her. At first, she doesn't fall in love with him, but later she does as she realizes he is a really nice person. Shalini's mom and brother's don't agree on the union, so Shalini, and the guy run away to a town to get married. After spending a few days in the town they realize that they shouldn't get married as their family's respect is more important. So they go their separate ways. This movie had a very nice but sad ending, and i won't spoil it, so go and rent it now. It gets a 10 out of 10.
