This is Simran's first venture into the southern market. And her debut into Malayalam movies. This movie started very well as a love story between her and another guy. They both, were in love, she was an orphan, and so was he, and they were both malayalees living in Delhi. Simran is a newspaper reporter, and she is assigned to a special function. She is supposed to meet her fiancee, but as it happens, she gets delayed. Then, during the function, one of her fiancees friends gets murdered, and everyone believes that her fiancee has done it. He is arrested, and Simran receives a videotape which shows her fiancee murdering his friend at the function, and as no one can go along with his alibi, she believes he has committed the crime. Then, she runs for her life,with the videotape, and a bag of her news reporting belongings, as she sees some people who are following her. She goes to Bangalore, by consent of her guardian. When she gets there she gets into an accident with none other than, Mammooty. Mammooty, takes her home to make sure she is OK. Simran, believes that Mammooty is in charge of what is happening, and releases her by taking her to the airport, but at the airport there is a hitman ready to kill Simran, but instead he shoots Mammooty. Then Simran tells her whole story to Mammooty. After some time, Mammooty takes a look at the videotape and realizes her finacee hadn't committed the murder it was done by computer morphing that they had changed his face. When Mammooty reveals the face to Simran, she realizes it is a Malayalee politician in Delhi, who is very powerful. Mammooty, visits the man and makes him realize that they know he did it and they go to the police with the information. They are to release Simran's fiancee, but while they release him, he is shot. What happens in the end, is very interesting. Will Simran get her revenge on the politician, or will Simran end up like her fiancee, or maybe she gets together with Mammooty? Well rent it. I don't think that this was a great ending, but it was a typical malaylee movie. I give it a 6.5 out of 10.
