Family Album II
To start with, this page is rather a "mixed page" than a family album as such, but never mind.
Let's begin, where we ended in the previous family album: The Merino Family. As mentioned before, the family have five regular members, two parents, one son and two daughters. But the extended family includeds five inbread dogs, of the race "Pekinese". They spend most of their time sleeping, barks a bit and eats. They are all approaching retirement age, but they are still in "diaper-stage" in terms of toilet practices. Anyway, they can't help it.
Below, we see Macarena sleeping in x-mas wrapping, x-mas 1997. Macarena is the darling of the family, because of her fluffy blond fur, and petite appearance. She is suffering from colds most of the time which only adds to the sympathy she is receiving.
Now a few pictures from the Lykkegaard Family in Honduras. Below, my mother Inge is looking around in our hotel in the city of Antigua, Guatemala. As you can see, it was pretty nice. The was several hundred years old, built in colonial style with a "Atrium" garden inside of the house. This atrium even had a fountain and was richly decorated with plants and flowers.
On the next picture, we are located in a so-called "cloud forest". A cloud forest is a rain forest located in elevated areas. Therefore, the climate is a lot colder than the normal tropical rain forest. The picture is from La Tigra which is located less than an hours drive from the capital of Tegucigalpa. Helge and Bjørn are taking look at the scenery.
Finally, here is picture taken in the school for poor kids of the market. I have worked there some afternoons every week. For some of the kids, this is their only education, while other attend normal public school in the morning. They are actually quite well behaved and some of them are eager to learn. Most of them likes to play football, draw on the blackboard, hold dancing contests and a occational game of picture lottery
