Our real home is in the beautiful 'hood of Lakewood in
California, where you'll find
surf, sand, hot tubs, mountains, deserts, riots,
floods, fires and . . .
Where else in the world can you find all that?
We are both editors
at, you guessed it, the
newspaper pictured below.

like to vacation in tropical locales, including Hawaii and Mexico.

In 1996, we visited Disney World for four days, followed by a 7-night cruise in the
Caribbean.
Our ports of call on the then-brand-new
Celebrity Century cruise liner were
these islands:
San Juan, Puerto Rico; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; St. Maarten
and Nassau in the Bahamas. We have also been to the islands of Kauai, Maui (where we are going again in April '98) and the Big Island of Hawaii. In 1997, we traveled to the beautiful Mexican island of Cancun, as well as Cozumel and Isla de Mujeres. As you can tell, we love The Tropics, and want to share it with you through our photos. We will be changing and/or adding to the collection, so check back. Also planned are some travel tips for these destinations. So put your Hawaiian shirt on and come along with us. There's a cool breeze under the palm trees and the Mai Tais have been served. Mahalo and Aloha!
