The Cocos Island Rock Engravings
on Chatham Bay (1797 - 1889)
Hundreds of boulders on Chatham Bay bear inscription from visitors since 1797. Today it 's nearly impossible to find an empty space to chisel in any inscription. This guest book is the most intricate and mystic site of inscription and strange markings anywhere in the world. Much of them relate to one of the three pirate treasures believed to be hidden on Cocos Island.
