were lost in a sea of script; awed by the magnificent temples and colourful art; astounded at the vast variety of "stuff" for sale at the markets; delighted in the outdoor beach restaurants in Songkhla; occasionally woken up by barnyard fowl; enjoyed reading an english newspaper; entered a world of strange limestone formations on Railae Beach; viewed the solar eclipse just south of totality; climbed 600 m of stairs to the Buddha's Footprint for a panoramic view of Krabi, and did last minute shopping in Hat Yai.
We returned to Malaysia on October 29, 1995.
