Alas the waves were too high, so there where no ferries to the islands. We met Vivian Ananda from a travel agency in a small chinese tea-house, and he promised us to get a fisher boat on sunday to go to the islands.
And he managed to charter a boat. The start was a quit trip over the river, Buying food for the people who were on the island, and couldn't get away. They were stuck there for 6 days already.
Then the party goes on, On a very rough sea with waves up to 3 meters sitting on top of the fisher boat.
In a few hours we reached Pulau Kechil (= small Island), and I can say, If there is a paradise on earth, then it's here! We were glad we'd made it, but is was it worth!
And imagine this. Just sitting on the terrace, with some juice (there is no alcool) watching over the sea. I wished I'd never have to leave that place.
BUT.... We want to see more, and left on the next saturday. This time by "normal" ferry.
