In 1953-1956 about 14 motor ships were built for Volga and Siberian routes.
In 1980s some ships were modernised to increase the comfort for the passengers.
Most of the ships were removed from operation in 1990s, but some of them are still in service. Ships operate mostly on regular lines on Ob, Irtysh, Lena and Enisei rivers. One ship operates on cruise line St.-Petersburg - Moscow.
