Day 6

"You have come to Mount Zion and the city of the living god" (Heb. 12:22)

The first morning in Jerusalem takes us to the Mount of Olives, the Chapel of the Ascension (Luke, 24:50) and the Pater Noster Church (Matt, 6:9), that commemorates the lord's prayer. Enjoy the panoramic view of the city and walk along "Palm Sunday Road" (Matt, 21:1) to the Dominus Flevit Chapel, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem (Luke, 19:41) and to the Garden of Gathsemane (Matt, 26:36) and the Church of All Nations. We cross the Kidron Valley to Mount Zion to visit King David's tomb, the Dormition Abby, the Cenacle-The Last Supper Room (Luke, 22:7) and the Church of St. Peter in Galicantu (Mark, 14:66).

In the afternoon, a visit to the city of Betlehem - the Church of the Nativity - Birthplace of lord Jesus (Luke, 2:1) and the Shepherd's Field (Luke, 2:8).

 

Day 7

"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. My those who love you be secure (Psalms, 122:6)

We follow the footsteps of Jesus as we spend the day walking inside the walled city. Our visits will include the following: The Western Wall, The Temple Mount, The Dome of the Rock, The Mosque Al-Akza, The Church of St. Anne (birth place of the Virgin Marry), the pools of Bethesda (John, 5:1), Ecce Homo (John, 19:5), the pavement of the Antonia fortress, the Via Dolorosa (stations of the cross), the Church of the holy sepulchre (Luke, 23:50) and the Garden Tomb.

  1. Important: It is possible to arrange a communion service and masses in all the holy places. Please advise your tour guide about the venues and times.
