All-Star Sports Resort
The Disney All-Star Sports Resort is exactly what its name says. This resort gives you the feeling of being in the world of baseball, football,tennis,surfing, and basketball. Larger than life football helmets, surfboards, tennis balls, basketball hoops and baseball bats adorn the buildings.You haven't seen anything until you see the three story soda cups, lifeguard shacks, and tennis ball cans that lead guests to the second and third floors.
The rooms at the Disney Allstar Sports Resort range from $74.00 per night up to $99.00 per night. Different rates apply to different times of the year. The All-Star Sports resort rooms are 260 square feet. Each room has two double beds. (except the rooms designed for travelers with disabilities) Up to four guests per room, additional charges apply if more than 2 adults.
Restaurants at the Disney All-Star Sports resort include the End Zone in stadium hall. The End Zone features a bakery, convenience market and several stands geared towards pizza, barbecue, pasta, and burgers. The food court has a common seating area with a central beverage bar. For entertainment the End Zone offers children's movies during the day and showcases big games on its enormous big-screen TV. The All-Star Sports Resort delivers pizza, salads, beer, and wine to rooms from 4 P.M. to midnight.
Lounges: There are none at the All-Star Sports Resort. However, Team Spirits pool bar serves drinks throughout the day and evening. The bars are in the main pool area.
What To Do:
Swimming: The All-Star Resort has two pools and a kiddie pool. The main pool theme is Surfboard Bay which has a ocean motif. The smaller Grand Slam Pool pays tribute to our nations past time, baseball. It's shaped like a baseball diamond with Goofy on the mound.
Playground: A playground is located in the resorts courtyard area.
Shopping: Sport Goofy Gifts and Sundries is located in Stadium Hall. This shopping features magazines,books,character merchandise, and sundries.
Video Arcades: Game Point Arcade offers a large selection of current and classic games. In addition to points some games give tickets that can be redeemed for prizes.
Transportation: Buses make pickups at Cinema Hall, Melody Hall, and Stadium Hall (this ones for you). The bus pickups are for transportation to all four Theme Parks and all three Water Parks. It is rumored that the transportation service at the All-Star Resorts is the best out of all the Resorts.
Child Care: In-Room Child Care- Private service by KinderCare Learning Centers is available to Walt Disney World Resort guests with 24-hour advance notice. Call 407-827-5444
Fun Facts- The tennis racquet at Centre Court would practically cover an entire regulation tennis court.
It would take 9,474,609 tennis balls to fill one of the Centre Court's giant tennis ball cans.
All the water in Typhoon Lagoon's wave pool would fill one of the coca-cola cups.
