Coronado Springs Resort

The Disney Coronado Springs Resort  makes you feel like you are in the Southwestern Part of the country. The US- Mexican theme is displayed by the tiled stucco lobby with a fountain. The hotel has 1,967 rooms that are found in three guest areas that stretch around the 15-acre lake, Lago Dorado.

The rooms at the Disney Coronado Springs  Resort range from $124.00 per night up to $189.00  per night. Different rates apply to different times of the year. The Coronado Springs  Resort rooms are quite spacious and are perfect for a family of four. Each room has two double  beds (except the rooms designed for travelers with disabilities). Up to four guests per room, additional charges apply if more than 2 adults. The rooms features include in-room wall safe, voice mail, data port on telephone, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, coffeemaker, and refrigerator (upon request and has a daily fee).

Restaurants at the Disney Coronado  Resort include the following:

Maya Grill: This casual elegant restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. They have seafood, steak, lamb and pork cooked over an open-pit wood-fired grill.

Pepper Market: This restaurant features high ceilings that make this restaurant fell like an open market. The food offered includes tacos, pizza,tostadas, pasta, and omelettes made to order.

Lounges: There are two places to relax and reflex on the great day and days to come.

Francisco's- This lounge is located in the main building and provides fantastic cocktails with great entertainment.

Siesta's- In the Dig Site area at the pool enjoy a great variety of cocktails and light snacks.

What To Do:
Swimming: The Coronado Springs Resort main pool can be found in the Dig Area. I was amazed to see the size and style of this pool. Quite impressive was this beautiful pool that looks like a Mayan Pyramid and features a towering water slide. There is a 22-person whirlpool and a kiddie pool nearby.

Playground: A playground is part of the resorts Dig Site and includes a sandbox. Send the kids in to excavate the Mayan carvings. Great touch.

Health Club: La Vida health club offers a full range of fitness equipment.

Salon: The Casa de Belleza salon is located near the La Vida health club. It offers many spa services.

Shopping: Panchitos Gifts & Sundries is the place to pick up pottery, jewelry and other items with a  Southwestern style.This store also carries Disney character merchandise, film and everyday necessities.

Video Arcades: The Jumping Bean Arcade is found in the main building, and the Iguana Arcade is located in the Dig Site area.

Biking: Bikes may be rented at La Marina.

Boating: Check out La Marina for a variety of boating equipment.

Child Care: In-Room Child Care- Private service by KinderCare Learning Centers is available to Walt Disney World Resort guests with 24-hour advance notice. Call 407-827-5444

Transportation:  The bus pickups are for transportation to  all four Theme Parks,  all three Water Parks and Downtown Disney.. When you get to the hotel check in at the front desk and pick up a map and pick up schedule for the buses.
