Swan & Dolphin Resort

The massive Swan & Dolphin sister resorts are a sight to see when you first arrive at the exit for Disney World. You may be surprised to learn that these sister resorts are owned by Westin and Sheraton respectively. Guests still receive most of Walt Disney World resort benefits. These resorts are tremendous in size. The swan is 46-feet high while the dolphin stands 56-feet tall.

The rooms are beautifully  decorated in colors of coral and turquoise. There are lamps shaped as birds and pineapple decorations painted onto dressers. Each room has on king-size bed or two queen-size beds.There are safes, mini-bars, irons, ironing boards,etc. There are rooms for guests with disabilities and non smoking rooms available.

Restaurants at the Swan & Dolphin Resorts include the following:

Cabana Bar & Grill: This is a full-service poolside spot located near the Dolphin and serves burgers, sandwiches, yogart and fruit. They also offer specialty drinks.

Coral Cafe: At the Dolpin, buffets and a' la carte selections are served during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Dolphin Fountain: Homemade ice cream is the specialty here. Great sundaes,shakes, malts and even burgers are offered.

Garden Grove Cafe: This Swan eatery features a greenhouse atmosphere. You can find breakfast and lunch here. At night the restaurant turns into Gulliver's Grill and serves steak and seafood entrees. There is also a character breakfast and dinner here.

Harry's Safari Bar & Grille: This Dolphin eatery features grilled beef, poultry, and seafood.

Juan & Only's: You can find Southwestern food at this Dolphin restaurant.

Palio: A pleasant Italian Bistro located at the Swan. You can find home-made pizza, pasta and tasty specials.

Splash Grill: Near the Swan this poolside cafe serves lunch and snacks. In addition, a full-sized bar is also located here.

Tubbi's: At the Dolphin Resort this is a cafeteria with a 24 hour convenience store inside that sell snacks and sundries.

Lounges: There are five  wonderful lounges to visit.

Copa Banana: At the Dolphin Resort you will find this lively place of entertainment. They have Deejay music, a dance floor, and a large screen TV. The tabletops are wonderful in there different shapes of fruit.

Harry's Safari Bar: Located at the Dolpin Resort find this Jungle of a bar:

Lobby Court: At the Swan Resort you can enjoy a European-stylle bistro which serves gourmet coffees, and fresh pastries. At night there serve wine and specialty drinks.

Kimonos: This Swan lounge serves all kinds of Japanese specialties.

Only's Bar & Jail: In the Dolphin next to the restaurant you can enjoy great margaritas and other specialty drinks.



What To Do:
Swimming: There are three pools between the two sister resorts. There are several whirlpools located around the area.

Playground: A playground with swings, slide, sandbox,etc. is located next to the grotto pool.

Health Club:  A branch of Body By Jake ( famous fitness guru) is located near the Dolphin and has everything from exercise equipment, to whirlpools, to steam and sauna rooms. There is also a smaller health club near Splash Grill at the Swan.

Salon: The Niki Bryan shop at the Dolphin provides a full line of hair care services.

Shopping: Disney Cabanas in the Swan lobby and Daisy's Garden in the Dolphin are Disney stores which sell character merchandise. There are four specialty shops where you can find Jewels, watches, chocolates and much more.

Video Arcades: Near Tubbi's restaurant you can find a room filled with video games and you can also find another Arcade by the pool area.

Tennis: Located near the Dolphin and behind the pool area you will find four hard-surface tennis courts. They are lighted for night play and are open 24 hours a day.

Boating: Pedal boats and hydro bikes  are available for rent on the white sand beach between the Swan & Dolphin Resorts. 

Children's Program: Camp Dolphin is a supervised center for activites between 1:30p.m. until 4:00 p.m. The cost is $12.00 per child per hour. The Dinner Club (same place) is open from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. The cost is $45.00 for the first child, $30.00 for the second child, and $20.00 for each additional child.



Transportation:  Guests take boat rides or walk to Epcot. Boats also make the trip to MGM-Studios. Buses venture to the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney and the Water Parks.
