TOMORROWLAND

ASTRO ORBITER
Pilot your own spacecraft around the planetoids. This ride is quite high up and you take an elevator to get to it. If you see the line is short thats a good time to stop what your doing and try this ride out.

FUN FACTS: The old version of the Astro Orbiter was called Star Jets and looked more like the space shuttle of today.

BUZZ LIGHTYEAR'S SPACE RANGER SPIN
Join Buzz Lightyear in a fun game of shoot the targets with lazers.Vehicles are fitted with a joystick steering and twin laser cannons. This is a fun ride for a good competition. You seem to score more points on the moving targets and I should know because I am the champion of our family with a score of 400,000 points. It's fun to beat your husband.

GALAXY PALACE THEATRE
Live productions with Disney characters and performers. I have been several times to Disney World and I have yet to see a show at this theatre. I guess I need to check my schedule better. Please e-mail me and let me know if the show still exists.

THE EXTRATERRORESTRIAL ALIEN  ENCOUNTER
Find yourself in an experiment gone wrong. I hate to say it but I"m to chicken to try this ride. My husband almost got my daughter on this ride but at the last minute she chickened  out. Maybe next time. I hear that if you are sitting in a certain seat the alien actually wraps his slimey legs around you and breathes hot breath on your neck. Now this is why I don't go.

FUN FACTS: For comic relief during the ride there is a recorded voice whichs screams out " It's an Alien'" and a very soft voice which says "It's my Mother-In-Law."

SPACE MOUNTAIN
Blast off in a roller coaster in the dark. Great ride in space. This ride also enables you to get a fastpass. Since this line tends to be 2 hours long I would advise it. Make sure you hold on tight and have fun.

FUN FACTS: Space Mountain opened in 1975. This was Walt Disney World's  first thrill ride. It took 10 years to develop and 2 years to contruct. To this day it is one of Disney Worlds most popular rides.

THE TIMEKEEPER
Circle-vision combined with audio-animatronics creates an awesome illusion. The narrator and zaney space ship voices are Rhea Pearl and the crazy robots voice is the one and only Robin Williams.  This is the first time I went on this journey and I found it both funny and interesting. Hold on to the rail in front or back of you because it's easy to get a little dizzy. Don't miss this show.

TOMORROWLAND SPEEDWAY
Drive your own race car around a twisting track. Fun ride for kids. When you go in line for this ride if it splits into 2 lines go to the left as most people out of habit go to the right. Try it and then e-mail me and let me know if it worked for you.

TOMORROWLAND TRANSIT AUTHORITY
This ride sets you on a voyage through Tomorrowland. This is a nice relaxing ride. You go thru space mountain, Buzz Lightyear, stores. I enjoy this relaxing ride and eventually my family says it's OK. Take a break and ride it, there is never a line for it.

FUN FACTS: The Transit Authority operates on linear induction motors which utilize electro magnets to pull the small 5 car trains. They use very little power, have no moving parts, and emit zero pollution.

WALT DISNEY'S CAROUSEL OF PROGRESS
This ride has been around since 1974 and I believe it was at the WORLD Fair in New York. If you go to Disney World you have to see this ride. It's a great break from the hustle and bustle.

Fun Facts: Ever see the cool looking metal Palm Trees in Tomorrowland? If your at the park all day watch as the palm trees are open during the day, to make shade, and fold up at night. They sure think of everything.
