Everyone has a dream. We all dream of a smiling face or the pot of gold at the
end of the rainbow. However, beneath the dreams lies the harsh reality: The dream car is
just an old rusty van. The shirt is stained with sweat and dirt. I don't have a clue as to
the profession of this man. Does it matter?
This image was taken in 1984 at a place called Rosh-Pinah in Israel. About a hundred years ealier, in 1882, Jews who dreamed of coming back to the land of Israel, built Rosh-Pinah. And their dream came true, and became our reality... |
