------------Loki has been around for awhile making appearances here and there on releases from Brotha Lynch Hung and other Sac. rappers. Since he has only made a few
appearances before this I wasn’t exactly sure what this was going to sound like. Now with the creation of Siccmade Muzicc we finally get a chance to hear more of the rapper known as Loki. With that distinctive Siccmade sound and exceptional lyrics Loki shows everyone that he isn’t just your average rapper.
___For the most part Loki appears all by himself with a majority of the songs being solo’s. But with this being a Siccmade release, his counterparts also come in to help him out on a track or two. Brotha Lynch Hung, Sicx, First Degree the D.E., Fignaytion, and D-Dubb all contribute to the overall feel of the cd. But from the start this is all Loki. “Whut Up” is a preview of the things to come. “Ghetto Blaster” is the first real song and shows off Loki’s lyrical ability. With tight lyrics and a clever hook this is a good track to start the cd off with. “Cause I Said So” is another song that has a catchy chorus and also features Brotha Lynch and Sicx. This is a great Siccmade song and shows that they don’t lack any talent. “Indo 500” is another tight solo by Loki and really shows off his lyrics. Loki shows that he can hang with he best of them in terms of lyrics. “Hard-On” and “Plug Nickel” are other examples of Loki’s talent and will have you waiting some more Loki solos.
___With only 12 tracks in all and one of them being a skit and the other being a intro/song there isn’t much room to have any duds. “The High Life” and “Betrayal” are both weak songs with too much singing that soon becomes annoying. “Get My Name Right” and “None To Die For” have beats that are just too laid back to be enjoyable. But for the most part Loki comes through with an good cd that is good listen. With this release we get a taste of Loki and what he brings to the table, which is great lyrics that are up to par to those of the east coast. All you Siccmade fans should go out and pick this one up as its an enjoyable listen that will entertain any fan.
